Leisure Suit Larry 7!
Just me?
It made me laugh all the time, especially with the narrator constantly bashing on Larry! I loved the sea cruise setting, too. The drawn visuals were amazing at its time as well.

If we're talking about point and click adventures and you're actually being serious I'd say the best would have to be The Longest Journey.CellAnimation
I've never heard of it. Gotta check on YouTube.
The Prince of Persia series, I loved all 7 games and each one was awesome at it's time, can't wait for the 8th :).
If it's point and click then Day of the Tentacle or Broken Sword.

Yeah, Broken Sword is totally great, especially the first one! Great plot. Love it! Haven't ever finished the 2nd though.
I remember playing Maniac Mansion on the NES back in the days. That sure was nice, too.
You mean "Dreamfall: The Longest Journey"?acetroublehttp://store.steampowered.com/app/6310/ - The Longest Journey (Dreamfall - is the sequel).

The girl at the beginning of Dreamfall sure looks hot in that underwear!:D

[QUOTE="teh_VU"]My favorite point and click game was BF2. I just laid down on the hill and pulled out my sniper and the pointing and clicking began!Kleeyooklol :P double Lol :P :P
I just tried to play the syberia demo but its REALLY slow, and the patch doesn't seem to work on the demo, anyone know a work around?
... The best adventure game i've played recently has to be The longest journey and Dreamfall. I used to love the original Sam and max back in the day, and i'm looking to maybe play the penumbra series next. They anygood? the demo impressed me.

best adventure game period. No need for arguing this is just a fact :P_Pedro_I think you meant to quote my post. The one with Monkey Island 3. That's OK, we all make mistakes.

but only just. monkey island 1 and day of the tentacle arent far off in my book.
personally i didnt take to the longest journey like i did the lucasarts adventure games. it was good but, to me, all the old lucasarts adventure games are better
I win.

Now THERE'S a game I want to see a re-make of....I have never been able to play that 1995 clas*ic.
But a re-make must have good voice-acting.
Curse of Monkey Island and Grim Fandango are great choices......I was never on The Longest journey bandwagon.
