specs

  • Cpu---AMD X2 5200 running at 2.8Ghz
  • Mem--1Gb of DDR2 5300 (I plan on 2 more Gigs)
  • GPU---Nvidia 8600 GTS OC edition

Should I even bother getting another 8600 for sli mode also is it worth getting a nice creative sound card and that physics card.

plan on playing

  • crysis
  • Unreal tournament

Definitely worth getting more RAM, 2Gb (or higher if you have 64 bit)

I use an AGEIA PhysX card, and it does make UT3 run smoother, with briliant effects.

I also have a CreativeLabs X-Fi card, I like it for the EAX quality, as well as the true 7.1 THX, I will say any soundcard is a grand improvement over built-in motherboard audio.

Hopeless to get another 8600GTS and SLI. You might as well sell your current 8800GTS and get the upcoming 8800GT instead which is a whole lot better choice.

Whats more important now is to upgrade your RAM to 2GB.
