Recently got given an Antec 1200, the only problem with it is it's missing 1 of the HDD bays(if you aren't familiar with the 900/1200, they slide out the front and leave a gapping hole in it's place til you put it back :p). I'm looking to purchase a new one but have NO idea where to in Australia, as antec.com only does a U.S. online store which is the only place I've found one for sale. Both the 900 & the 1200 HDD bays fit, anyone know of a place I could purchase it? :D

You should be able to buy/order Antec cases in any self-respecting computer shop. ;)

Well aware of that, but if you read the thread I'm only looking for one of the HDD bays as the 1200 I got given is missing one. And I cannot for the life of my find an Australian store which stocks it.

Try to contact their support and you can probably order from them, at least cooler master has a store where you can buy almost any component from every case they make.

Hm thanks! I've emailed them. They have a store, just it's U.S. only. If anyone can find a supplier for it in Aussie, please post it. :)

I misinterpreted the "I'm looking to buy a new one" as you wanting to purchase a complete case instead of just one bay. Antec once sent me a Soundscience 3D Rock-Us 2.1 speaker set as a gift (for suggestions I made for future case builds) so they'll probably be willing to send you an Antec 1200 hard drive cage. From Fremont, California to Belgium or to Australia isn't such a big difference in distance...

My only concern is if they do choose to, shipping would be a decent bit. Wouldn't think it'd be so hard to find a spare bay for sale. :s

Maybe you could find something on E-Bay?

Build your own cage. When using two ROM drives and, say, a fan controller in the top, you've got three meshed fronts to fill the gap left by the missing drive cage. It's not going to be easy because of the rather complicated manufacturing of the 1200's cages, but the one you build doesn't necessarily have to be exactly the same. A removable cage from another case like the Chieftec Dragon series should be adaptable with some side stand-offs...

Good idea, Missing 1 bay drive cover aswell tho, since I got the case for free I can't complain tbh. I'll probs just throw some mesh + a 120mm where it is if I can't find bay.

Hell, I'd ship you one if you were in the U.S. I've got a couple of them laying around from my Antec 900 project which I was too lazy to finish.
