Why is it that there aren't any quality poker or holdem' games for PC? I tried World Series of Poker and the stupid display resolution maxes out at 1280x720. Are there any real poker games that have good levels of immersion that support multiplayer over LAN that don't suck? I think the first person to make a quality poker game for the PC with all the bells and whistles would be an instant millionaire. What gives?

there are lots of online poker games were you can make bets with real money or just play with their own virtual coins against other players with virtual money, i wont post any of these sites here since i dont think the mods would appriciate but its really easy to find them, just be sure you dont download onde thats a scam instead of an serious buissness

I agree I'd like to see a good poker game with a career mode. I don't think I'll ever being playing big cash games or goto the WSOP, so it'd be fun for me. The trick is having challenging AI (I don't think they've accomplished this yet) and a good interface.

I tried one, based on reviews, World Championship Poker 2. It was decent game, but had some major game stopping bugs. And of course they had no support for it.

I don't know why you'd want to play over LAN. I mean if you have the people to play a LAN game, why not actually setup a live gam. Unless you don't have enough people and need some extra computer players or something.
