Hey, i'm looking for some new RTS to add too my collection. (I know there are already some threads up on this topic, but a list of the most recent games aswell as some of the good oldies) I currently own most of the AoE series, most of the C&C series, DoW, CoH, Empire Earth, Rise of Nations, Warcraft series and Starcraft + Expansion. I am looking for games with an exciting single player aswell as a good online community. So if you have any reccomendations, chuck 'em here and i'll check 'em out! Thanks in advance!

I found Supreme Commander and it's expansion Forged Alliance both really good RTS games.

In addition to the above mentioned Supreme Commander Complete, I'd like to toss these into the mix:

  • Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War 2
  • Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends
  • Red Alert 3 (you said 'most'...not sure if that would include RA3)
  • World in Conflict
  • Darwinia/Multiwinia
  • Hegemonia: Legions of Iron
  • Nexus: The Jupiter Incident
  • Homeworld series (Homeworld 1, Cataclysm, and Homeworld 2)

Oh, and if you want a solid single-player campaign, stay as far away from Sins of a Solar Empire. Sins has no single player campaign at all. However, if you don't mind single-player skirmishes against the AI, I'd whole-heartedly recommend Sins provided that you pick up the expansion pack (Entrenchment) as well.

EDIT - Grr...had Age of Mythology on the brain while typing Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends...

I never play any single player campaigns. I love just getting a random map and playing last man standing with the CPU.

Try World in Conflict. It has a great tutorial mode, plus it removes the tedious stuff out of the game, such as resource-gathering and base-building.
