Don't oversell it. It does have flaws. There's not much replay value to it once you've beaten it. You did the same thing with Drakensang and launched into raputrous praise when you first got into it, only to retract some of the more excessive adulation you heaped upon it later.
Maybe take some time to finish the game before giving it "smurfiest game ever!" awards?

Bogaty, I wasn't 'over-selling' Elven Legacy.
It's on sale for $5, which is a great deal, especially in this economy. I was just trying to alert people about the quality of this title (BUY ELVEN LEGACY NOW!). When I saw this title on sale, initially I didn't even think anything about it. I can only assume that others just looked at it and dismissed it right away also. (BUY ELVEN LEGACY NOW!)
As far as Drakensang is concerned - well, honestly, if anything, I was under-rating it. I spent pretty much the entire summer playing Drakensang. For me it was a good 60 hours in length (and, yes, I play slowly). I bought a brand new PC just to be ready for NWN 2, back in the day, and I loved that game - there were times while playing Drakensang during which I honestly questioned whether or not Drakensang was a better RPG. (BUY ELVEN LEGACY NOW!) For five dollars, Drakensang is a steal.
I stand by my comments about both titles. And I don't think I was over-selling either one of them. (BUY ELVEN LEGACY NOW!)
People around here get passionate about their games, which is the reason that 2 years afterwards we're still having to read all these damned 'Is Crysis The Greatest Game Ever' threads. I can assure you, however, that two years from now, I won't be posting about Drakensang. :)
Anyhow, I kind of do resent being called a Smurf, as though I'm deliberately attempting to trick people into buying Elven Legacy. (BUY ELVEN LEGACY NOW!) But again, thanks for the heads-up about Fantasy Wars. I can't wait for it to arrive in the post. (BUY ELVEN LEGACY NOW!)
Yes, it's a great deal for $5. (wish I'd waited on it and Drakensang). I'm just saying that I recall your over-the-top initial endorsement of Drakensang followed by later posts when the initial glow had worn off and you realized that there were issues with the game. Elven Legacy is good, but it's nowhere near as good as you're posts might lead people to believe.
