anyone looking forward to rage?

olny a couple of weeks away and no one is talking about it. between rage, bf3, skyrim & swtor im going to have a lot to play over the holidays.

Waiting on reviews. I got burned the last time I bought a game with Bethesda on it(Hunted: The Demon's Forge).

I'm very much looking forward to Rage.

I'm hoping that it will blow everybody away, but even if it doesn't, as long as it's a very good FPS I will still be happy.

Hi, publishers are simply the big guys that publish the games but there are typically multiple subsidiaries(developers) of a particular publisher.

For example THQ has Vigil Games which makes the Darksiders games, Relic which makes the Warhammer games and Volition which makes the Freespace, Red Faction, and Saints Row games.

Looks pretty good and one of my most wanted game but no game is worth 60 dollars. I'll wait for it to be all patched up and on sale on Steam.

I can't wait for RAGE. I'm mostly looking forward to that, BF3, and ME3 at this point.

Looking forward to it. But by no means am I getting it at launch. Maybe a few months after, still working on some cheaper games I haven't had a chance to play yet.

I'm very excited for it. Skepticle of buying at launch though simply because bethesda is usually pretty good at putting their games on steam sales so I might hold off. I have $20 amazon credit and it's either going towards this or BF3. Decisions decisions.

It looks very interesting but will wait for reviews.

rubbing my hands in glee, waiting for 4th october. :D Basically Mad Max on crack, whats there not to like ? I figure if it plays just as well as borderlands its still worth the money.

Honestly its one of the only FPS games I am looking forward to that much, Sure COD and BF will be good, but I am a little burned out on military themed FPS games atm.

Rage looks good visually, and they boast that it has excellent performance and doesn't need super hardware to run great! I am excited about the supposed optimization of the game...

Definitely looking forward to it, and I like everything I've seen in the trailers so far.

Preordered two copies so my eldest son and I can jump into the co-op missions after we've completed the SP campaign.

I was going to preorder it until I learned this morning that the it has only 15 hours worth of game time. That's really piss poor, so I have decided the game is not going to be worth $60. I might pick it up after it hits the bins and after all the good games come out this fall.

I got it for a bit over $40 on Newegg for a preorder. So I'm kind of anticipating it.

I twill be a nice change of pace compared to the modern military shooters I have been playing as of late.

Looks to be a Steam sale pick up for me. Only day of games for me now are BF3 and Uncharted 3.

With BF3 and Skyrim on the horizon l couldn't care less about Rage :P.

Yes, but so much other awesome stuff is coming out and I have to save money. I will wait until it inevtably gets discounted during the Steam Christmas sale. Unless reviews indicate that it's the next coming of Christ, at which point I may buy it when it comes out.

im not hyped for Rage at all! ima wait til its $5 or $10 max on steam, thats how much i care for it

I am, it is not a first in line game (the around 7 games I NEED to buy this year) but it is one of those games I want to buy, either if I have money to spare, or at the steam sales (even if it is full price then)

Oh, I know the game will be good. If anything, I am hoping for a commercial flop, not a critical one.

I'm looking forward to it, but am a bit underwhelmed by the gunplay. I have always felt that ID's guns felt so fake. I like to "feel" recoil and see bodies jerk when they are shot. It seems like they just fall down in preset patterns.

I will definitely get it though, but like almost all games will wait a few months for it to go down in price.
