I seriously don't know how there can be PC gamers who's a fan of Halo when there are so many superior first-person shooters on the PC.
But still, are there any PC gamers who are Halo fans?

I like Halo, but I need to point out that I was strictly a console and handheld gamer until 2006. If I'd been a PC gamer when Halo came out, my opinion of it might have been different.
While I still game on consoles and my DS, the vast majority of my gaming time is now spent on PC games.
QFT!!! You sire, are a true gamer. No, it's so stupid.

Developer 2: "I know! We take the first half of the game, reverse it, and add some stupid aliens that explode or crawl around!"
Publisher: "Excellent idea. Plus, console gamers are too stupid to notice that it's the same thing...but in reverse!"
Developer 1: "But what do we do about PC gamers?"
Publisher: "We don't care about the PC anymore. Even if it was the original gaming platform, F 'em. We don't need intelligent gamers."

Publisher: "We have enough stupid console gamers so we don't need a good PC game."krazyorange
I loved Halo 1 back in the day when it came out for the PC but that faded quickly and halo 2 and 3 for the consoles i had alot of fun when friends were over but i reallly couldn't stand playing them alone I Have a Very neutral Stance on the Games their very ok.SaintJimmmyYou're not a Halo fan anymore? Good, you're a true gamer.
I loved the first Halo and Halo 2 was decent, but the online was amazing for me since it was my first multiplayer experience over the internet.
I used to only be a console gamer up until a few years ago, though I would go to the internet cafe sometimes to play Counterstrike. Now I can't stand to play consoles almost entirely. I played Halo 3 and it was nice to finish the story, but I put that game to bed after it was done.
I don't mind halo. It's not the greatest, not the worst either, though. It really upsets me how they keep just cranking out these games, though. Cashing in on previous success with only a few gimmicky things added inis something I really refuse to support. I will most likely not be buying any of the new halo games.
Halo is a great game,i liked it very much and the multplayer was great too.i dont know why it gets bashed so much.its old,so yea the graphics,weapons...etc are dated, but i enjoyed it alot.all FPS i have ever played is about wars and action.Halo was about space and stuff which was diferent for me.
LOL at the Halo haters and PC gamers that think PC gaming is like the second coming of Jesus. anyways, Halo's not as revolutionary as they say, but it's decent. it's great at parties, though I find it hard to believe that Halo (and ANY OTHER FRIGGEN FPS ON ANY SYSTEM for that matter) is used in serious gaming tournaments. i wouldn't consider myself a PC gamer or a 360 gamer because I consider myself the rare, true breed of gamers simply known as "a gamer", so my opinion would be irrelevant to the Westboro PC-Elitist ChurchbulletswordYou have to admit, the series is not worth AAA status.

bias and generalization FTW. sometimes it's hard to tell which side is more stupid.
Really? I'd love an explanation of how that's generalization. Was the second half not the exact same as the first half...but in reverse and with aliens that explode/crawl around? wait, that does sound familiar. Oh yeah: Halo.Match making is lame I prefer actually browsing servers/games so that I can see what the pings like etc.blade55555matchmaking provides a ranking system, where you can level up. And play people of your same skill level. To me it's better than joining a random server and playing. Matchmaking forces more team play and organization, because it is more like a clan match rather than a pub game, for the most part.

and guess what? match-making system on pc exclusive titles never get complained.
I loved all the Halo games, I even won some games and money playing them competitively :) I'm mostly a PC gamer just because of the better controls, visual and in some cases gameplay. I don't have internet anymore (yay mobile broadband 3g! /sarcasm) so I can't play MP games so I usually dabble in Max Payne 2 and Morrowind from time to time. I recently beat Fallout 3 (really short game btw) and just started up Mass Effect and Stalker SOC along with Castlevania OoE. So yeah my hands are full.

The man knows what he is talking about.
"I seriously don't know how there can be PC gamers who's a fan of Halo when there are so many superior first-person shooters on the PC."
I seriously don't know how you can make that statement with a straight face. Just because a Filet or Ribeye is superior...doesn't mean I can't enjoy a good burger from time to time ;)
Halo is a good game with solid gameplay, great multiplayer, and good story telling. Next to the best shooters on the PC it may not be the best experience out there, but it's still a fun game to play.

Actually, I dislike match making in all games. Yes, it tries to pit you against people at your own skill level but that is a flawed system in itself. I have friends who play Halo 3 all of the time online and they purposely lose games so that they can lower their "skill" level and play against easier opponents. As well, I find myself when playing PC games with match making servers, that I land a lot of servers with high latency. This is primarily due to my geographic location but when I use a server browser, I can easily select a better choice for me instead of rolling the dice. So no, match making in my opinion is a great idea/alright system but it isn't my personal choice if I have the option.i,m a halo fan i think the pc game is so cool i would like to see more pc gamers buy more halo pc games.8)
You have to admit, the series is not worth AAA status. well, yeah. of course it's not worth AAA status, but for what it's worth, it's still a fun shooter that either gets too much love or too much hate. the first two were worthy of praise, the third was more of the same, just like almost every other trilogy ever made.[QUOTE="bulletsword"]LOL at the Halo haters and PC gamers that think PC gaming is like the second coming of Jesus. anyways, Halo's not as revolutionary as they say, but it's decent. it's great at parties, though I find it hard to believe that Halo (and ANY OTHER FRIGGEN FPS ON ANY SYSTEM for that matter) is used in serious gaming tournaments. i wouldn't consider myself a PC gamer or a 360 gamer because I consider myself the rare, true breed of gamers simply known as "a gamer", so my opinion would be irrelevant to the Westboro PC-Elitist Churchg805ge
Halo's pretty good. I like the story.Gammit10I'll agree with that. It's a fairly-original story (though nowhere near as unique as people claim). Halo is a classic example of an object which got caught up in the hype of the media, inflated reviews because of the hype, and inflated sales because of the inflated reviews. It's not nearly as good as it's commonly believed to be.

I disagree with that completely. The game to this day is still played online by great numbers...hype can make sales, but it can't make people play it for so long if the game can't stand on it's own merit. Halo has proven itself for sure.
Im a huge PC gamer, and am strictly a HL2 and Crysis fan but i still love Halo.I seriously don't know how there can be PC gamers who's a fan of Halo when there are so many superior first-person shooters on the PC.
