I am still waiting for halo 3 on PC...
So I can get all three with my new build.

Halo was repetitive, both visually and gameplay wise, uninovative, buggy (30FPS animations even when you run the game at 60FPS), but it had a good soundtrack and AI. Halo was agood game, a so-so FPS, but it was fun. Halo 2 isn't more than mediocre, it made me loose the little interest I had on the series.
Im a fan of the first ^^ diddnt like the 2nd, and havent playied anyone since...
I quite liked Halo, most of it was the setting... Its not the best game Ive ever play but I do realise that it is a good game.
No, it's so stupid.
Developer 1: "Hey, let's make a five hour FPS game!"
Publisher: "Nope, not long enough."
Developer 1: "Hmm I can't think of anything."
Developer 2: "I know! We take the first half of the game, reverse it, and add some stupid aliens that explode or crawl around!"
Publisher: "Excellent idea. Plus, console gamers are too stupid to notice that it's the same thing...but in reverse!"
Developer 1: "But what do we do about PC gamers?"
Publisher: "We don't care about the PC anymore. Even if it was the original gaming platform, F 'em. We don't need intelligent gamers."
Developer 1: "Huh?"
Publisher: "We have enough stupid console gamers so we don't need a good PC game."krazyorange

yeah it is. :)Well, Halo 3 isn't on the PC, so.....I wouldn't consider myself a fan, but I enjoyed playing the multiplayer in halo 3 back when my brother lived near by, I'd go to his house and play it for hours then go back home xD

I love watching the cutscenes and especially the trailers and stuff. The books were pretty good too. When I played Halo and Halo 2 it was on the Xbox, and they were pretty fun games, but playing them on PC they suck. I'm not sure if it's because PC games have better FPSs or if the ports were just really bad. I suspect it's a combination of both. In any case, I try to remember the fun I had with Halo and forget that it's a pretty poor game these days.I played them for the story, I loved the books and such, and its a pretty awesome story, but as in enjoying the game...they were alright I guess.

tl;dr, not a huge fan of the games, but I love the universe.
WIN! Halo fans are not true gamers.[QUOTE="fasdr34"][QUOTE="F1_2004"]
I just found a photo of a gathering of Halo PC fans:
Baranga
Halo CE the 20th most played game on Xfire:)
That only proves there are a lot of morons on XfireI played Halo 1 on both PC and the console. I have to say that I enjoyed the PC version better. Overall Halo for the PC was a decent game, it'll never be the "all-time best ever PC game", but it's also not complete crap.
Hell yea, Halo series is awesome.
On Xbox.
I lvoe playing coop and splitscreen.
I would also love to get Halo 2 and3 but A.) I dont have Vista, and B.) no talk of porting it yet (number 3 i mean).
As I said in my post I loved them on console, but the PC ports are just horrendous. If Halo 3 was a proper Pc port I'd get it 100%, but based on the last two games they shouldn't even bother wasting their time.Hell yea, Halo series is awesome.

I'm a PC person and I like Halo, I just don't N0000000000000B the crap out of people worse than me or be a whiny baby or any of the other things that Halo's unsavory players do.
Granted, Halo isn't my favorite, all-consuming pastime either. I just "like" it. It's fine - not divine, not crap, but it's good.
Watch, some Xbox 360 fanboy is just going to HAPPEN to stumble in here, see this thread, read my post, then start flaming me in toddler English. It happens every time.
I like to just laugh at them. All they ever do is "eat n00bs," crap battery packs, and sleep with their headsets on anyways. :D
[QUOTE="g805ge"]Halo was originally going to be a PC game. :/ Funny how things change, hmm?I seriously don't know how there can be PC gamers who's a fan of Halo when there are so many superior first-person shooters on the PC.
But still, are there any PC gamers who are Halo fans?

I loved the first Halo on Xbox. Got it at launch and played through it several times - great fun, great setting - great game.
Didn't think much of Halo 2 (played on Xbox) and never played Halo 3 (don't have a 360).
I didn't like the absurdly repetetive environements of Halo: Combat Evolved but I did like the co-op and the AI, I didn't like anything about Halo 2, and I liked the Forge Mode and Co-op in Halo 3.
