I have a PS3 just sitting around for exclusives. And I will be re-buying an Xbox 360 for Gears of War 3, Halo CE HD, and Halo 4.. but that's about it for the consoles. Other than that, I game on the PC. Even with multi-plats.

No I own a 360 there are just to many games that I enjoy that just aren't on the PC. although I do still love my PC and all my great games on it.
Well, my first-ever console was a NES, and then a Sega Mega Drive. Only a few years later did I get my first PC. Since then, I've been pretty much a PC gamer exclusively. I did, however, own a PS2 for a while with three games which I rarely played until I sold it.
So yeah, I play games only on PC nowadays. I do have an Xbox 360 controller for some games, but ummm yeah, I don't plan on buying a console any time soon.
There is nothing called pure PC gamer. PC gaming is all about not having a console. If someone has a console , ( even if it's handheld and even if he doesn't play with it ) he is not a PC gamer anymore.
I have had all consoles this gen, in fact iv had pretty much every console ever apart from the ones no one cared about and still have some of them along with thousands of games in the attic. I have also been into PC gaming since a very young age too and since the Atari ST and Amiga I have always preferred the PC for games. Thats not to say I didnt enjoy the consoles, I loved them especially the 16 bit consoles.
Now though, I really find it hard to get into and enjoy console gaming. I feel like im playing on a poor mans PC with a controller, instead of the console games i used to enjoy and apart from the odd few games that crop up every now and then nothing on the consoles interest me, the ones that do generally leave me feeling underwhelmed, especially with the amount of hype some of them get. The last console I really enjoyed gaming on was the Dreamcast.
I gave my PS3 and 360 to my nephew and sometimes borrow it back off him when a console exclusive comes out that I want to play, which isnt very often. Ill usually buy the game, play it and then give it back to my nephew when im done with it along with his console. The only console I still own is the Wii but that one really belongs to my girlfriend now as she is the only one out of the two of us that uses it. I wish I could enjoy consoles like I used to but I dont, maybe its because im older now.
Pure PC. Last console I owned was a ps2 which I sold along with my games awhile back, think I used thatmoney towards my pc as well :D I guess the only thing I sort of miss are JRPGs such as FFX that I played as a teen, oh well I probably couldn't get into them the way I used to anyway.
My gaming history:
Born in 1975. Father was an engineer and loved new tech. My earliest gaming memory is playing Below the Root on C64. We also had an intellivision that I loved. After the C64 we briefly owned an Amiga. Good system that went nowhere. I still own a working Vectrex, though I lost all of the plastic screens that went with the games. Nintendo to Gameboy to Genesis to N64 to PS and so on. The best games have always been on PC. Wolfenstein, Doom, Wing Commander, Quake. I'm pure PC simply because PC has provided the best gaming experience for the past 25 years. If you're old enough and still gaming, you started on a PC and continue on a PC.
I use to mostly play consoles from the Nes up to the PS1. I then slowly started playing PCs more. Mainly because I could afford good PC parts after getting a job. I have a PC and PS3 right now but, hardly play the PS3. I use the PS3 more for netflix than anything else.
I'm too spoiled by the visuals and performance of PC gaming.
Too spoiled by the options in hardware.
Too spoiled by the options in software.
Too spoiled by mods.
Too spoiled by mouse and keyboard and the OPTION of a controller/mouse/joystick, etc.
Too spoiled by the numerous indie games that thrive on PC.
Too spoiled by the large number of genres and gameplay styles that exist on PC.
I'm spoiled rotten by the PC. It would be like giving up filet mignon & lobster for the shishkobob at Bob's shishkobob shack.
Not that I couldn't go for some shishkobob one in a while, but it don't beat what I usually have.

Bought a £100 refurb xbox for RDR and SSF4. A year later its still going strong but see's little use. Once SSF4AE hits PC it'll be gettin packed away.
Started out with consoles (specifically, with the NES sometime prior to 1994), then consoles and portables. In 2006 I built a gaming computer for Oblivion and my console gaming diminished hugely as I started gaming on my PC. My newest piece of hardware is a DS Lite (had a Wii, but sold it due to discontentedness; never bought a PS360 or PSP). I'm extremely tempted to get a WiiU when it comes out (the news of a new Smash Bros. has me pumped!), but after the Wii, and after Nintendo's three-system streak of having less than great third party support, I have a bunch of skepticism that I'd like dispelled. But I suppose that, with the PC as my primary gaming platform, a lack of third party support on the WiiU won't be troubling. Sans announcements, I'm really just interested in Smash, Mario, Metroid, and Zelda. I also need to reacquire some Wii games I sold, and get some new ones (e.g. Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Zelda: Skyward Sword).
So while I'm 90+% a PC gamer right now, that could change next year or the year after.
I think I'm the only nintendo/PC gamer here 8)

I was (see above), and might be again. Since so many third party games are multiplatform, consoles need only be used for exclusives. Typically, I'm more interested in Nintendo's exclusives.

Started on Amiga and Comodore 64. End up on 32 GB RAM pc , Dual GTX 580 and stuffs like that Razer gear. Owned consoles once - lack of skill and competetive hard core gamers forced me to play on PC. But i do remember some games on PS , PS2 .
Playing atm MMO's (WoW , Rift . . . ) And Shooters (CS 1.6 for ever , Quake Enemy Territory , CoD(Dont like crapz) , Battlefield bad company 2)
From RTS ( playing RA 2 and 3 , Generals , Tiberian wars 3 ) TBS ( Age of wanders 2 and Heroes of Might and magic 3 and 5 )
Awaiting Guild Wars 2 (SWTOR just try but gw2 already made me horney ^^ , ) , (Down of Fantasy as RTS and HOM&M 6 as TBS) Diablo 3 , Dungeon Siege 3 too .
I started off console gaming as a kid, then moved onto PC gaming around the start of this gen (06). I mainly game on my pc now, however I still use my xbox for sport games and fighter games (Mortal Kombat), since I usually play multiplayer with friends on them and it's easier to use multiplayer on consoles!
Also I just generally find those genres better on console. Everything else is stricly PC however.

that's exactly why i chose nintendo over Sony and Microsoft for my console. Awesome 1st party exclusives. Mario and Zelda are great games and are guaranteed to never go on PC.Just wonder how many people game ONLY on a pc, and why. (or have only a maximum of 1 console)
As for me, i grew up playing a pc so i guess ill never understand the console gaming, though i do have a ps3 for exclusives.
Are you a "pure" pc gamer, and if yes, do you feel like you are missing out not playing on consoles?
You cant say that i am a pure PC gamer but 90% of the games i play is on the PC even though i have all 3 consoles, WII mostly because that was the first motion controller and that had to be tried :) I dont know why but i feel some games are 10 times better on a pc then on a console, and i dont like the idea with games like FAllout, elderscrolls and Oblivion being ported from a console because the game could have been made so much better if they just focused on a pc.My progression in gaming is varied. I actually started on console and then moved to PC when I could finally build my own rig. Since then Ive always had at least one of the consoles for my siblings to play but Ive mostly always played PC.Just wonder how many people game ONLY on a pc, and why. (or have only a maximum of 1 console)

My dad was a computer programmer and we got an Apple II back in the day, Then he'd just upgrade to next gen's on that (Apple II+, IIe). I took a hiatus from computers during highschool and beyond. When one day I dusted off the last Apple we had, but realized it had huge limitations (I wanted to do some basic programming). So got my first PC and a VB programming book and the rest as they say is history. I got a Wii last year, but basically just use it for Active II workouts... when I motivate. It came with a couple games, but I can't stand the graphics or controls. Plus, they're sports games and I have them or earlier versions on the PC that look so much better and I'm used to playing with my gamepad.
