I will be getting it opening day! But for 360, because I just bought a nice gaming laptop, but my 360 still runs games better. Nonetheless, I loved Oblivion, so I'm sure Bethesda won't dissapoint me on this one.yakk_3

No, not a chance. I thought Oblivion was terrible (especially when taken as a RPG) so I don't see how Oblivion with Guns (a.k.a. Fallout 3) will be any better. Everything I have read and seen about this game just turns my stomach more and more.

I have mine pre-ordered - I played both Fallout 1 & 2 - really looking forward to this one.

Depends on how the game turns out. It does look interesting. I liked the other two Fallout games, but I'm not a hardcore Fallout fan, so I wont diss this game before I try it

There are not many non-fantasy RPG games out there, so I'll have to settle with the few ones there are

demo doesn't show whether my player character can kill a whole town of kittens and people will completely forget about it and still give good alignment quest to me (which is what the dev. have said in one interview).

and demo doesn't show if my low int. character will not get certain quests like my high int. character does.

thenewau25, you might actually be a decent person, and of course your opinion, whatever it might be (yep, even the above if that's truly how you feel), is absolutely more than welcome.

You may want to do a few things though. Slow down with your posts, put a little more thought behind them, think them through, and try to think of the those who are going to be reading them. Maybe spend a little time surveying how most other people typically post.

Not necessarily this thread (or not limited to), not necessarily the above post, but it's like filtering through spam getting past your posts to someone else that I'll actually enjoy reading what they have to say.

If I purchased a Fallout game I would expect a Fallout game, seeing how it is nothing like Fallout why would I get it?

Fallout 3 is not for Fallout fans; it's for Oblivion fans looking for a different theme.

ill still pick it up but i know its nowhere near the classics..hell im still playing them from GOG..awsome servise if they hurry up and put Planetscape torment on there...but i still think ill enjoy Fallout 3..people say its like obvlion but ive never played it.
