ArmA 2 is a military simulation game for the PC and next-generation consoles being worked on by Bohemia Interactive Studio. It is the next game in the Operation Flashpoint-series following the predecessor ArmA: Armed Assault. The game was officially announced on August 22, 2007 at the Games Convention in Leipzig.
I didn't really like the first one but this is a huge oversight on gamespot's part. Its a big enough game to get a page for sure. I seriously think gamespot has gone down hill fast on the pc side.
Shacknews has a group that was once loosely associated with them called ShackTac... it's a bunch of guys that played OpFlash (and now play ArmA) pretty seriously, with a chain of command and big 40+ player coop or opfor games. They're in touch with the devs and try out fun things, AFAIK. To keep track of ArmA2, I really have no idea how to go about doing that. I didn't even know it wasn't up on the pages here yet. :)
