I thought it was a very good game, definitely one of the best I have played. The DRM is a little annoying, but has thankfully never caused me a problem. I was hoping that the next AC would be based in the present(Future?) time, but a bit more of Ezio is also ok

no i found it to be just as repetitive and a bit dull as the first one. I really didn't see what they changed

I found it pretty meh but I have like huge issues with the whole italian stuff and that is most likely why I didn't like it.

can't agree more. My goty of year so far. only games which can challenge it are ME2( havent started playing it yet) and NFS hot pursuit. I bought the game and still escaped from the DMR, lol you can figure out how

Don't mean to burst your bubble, but ACII came out last year, so it is not in this years contest... Besides, ME2 is not very good, same thing over again.

I love ACII from beginning to end, amazing story, gameplay, and decent graphics. Enourmous maps, glorious views, lots of variety and things to do. My only hate goes to the tombs, very, very tedious(although I wanted Altair's armour).

The game showed you where to go to find them, how much more could you ask for. Not like they didn't add to the plot...

That made it a better design decision, yeah. Hey, why not just have a "Climb this tower 1k times before you can progress", the game tells what it does.. right? Seriously, it was stupid. Sure, it was relevant to the story but they shouldn't have made it out to be a redundant HP boost and nothing else earlier on.

ACII works great with kb/m. I prefer it over controller, actually. Much easier to control the camera.

I like AC2 except for the fact that it has horribly optimization (I run at max settings and it only uses 60% of my GPUI and drops down to 30 fps sometimes) I also hate the TERRIBLE POP-INS.

Huh? Some of the best 3rd person controls I've encountered. Never had any issues, and I didn't even like the game that much. But saying the controls are bad? Nope.

as much as they improved over the first game (and boy, did they) one of the fundamental flaws remained, the combat is TOO EASY. WAAAAY too easy. it's a pity

That usually means a CPU bottleneck... and yeah the pop in on the first was pretty bad if you were in the "world", but the cities weren't bad... I don't know people say the controls are so bad, I played the first on kb/mouse it was fine, I tried the second for a bit and it seemed very similar, except for the icon it puts on screen, which you can easily find which key corsponds to it by looking in the control setup.

The ending was pretty amazing, it made me want to get Assassins Creed III or whatever will continue on with the story.
