hi, i wanna buy a new card

my pc is this

windows xp

p4p800-e deluxe

p4 3.0ghz

ati x1600pro

2g ram

will my p4p800-e support the ati hd2600 pro or even the hd2600xt ?

thx in advance

i run crysis with everithing medium except shader and water that cannot go higher than low because of my card

will i be able to run crysis with these 2 settings to medium and maybe better ?

If you have PCIe, why not? And with HD2600XT you'll be able to play on medium, but that's not a great improvement, is it? I recomened you buy a newer HD3850, which is much better than 2600 and doesn't cost much more (only about $30-$40 more). This way, you'll be able to go high.

Uh n o,HD 3850 starts at $150,HD 2600XT at $90,more like a $60 difference buddy,and the HD 2600XT PLOWS through the X1600Pro,and he probably doesn't have the PSU for a HD 3850.

Should be able to get medium with the HD 2600XT,i can with mine,though mine is OCed and my CPU is a E4500.
