the GTX295 in quad SLI gets about 70fps in crysis at 1080p maxed out no AA. and thats with 'old' SLI drivers.

http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-295,2123-4.html

its safe to assume that a hd5870x2 or a geforce 395 will be more powerful than a gtx295 so its safe to say well see crysis on max at 1080p 100fps at least with 2 of them

And that would be the reason I went with a 4830 earlier in the year and not something faster. Can't wait.

If I had a high end card right now I wouldn't sell it for the new 300 series or 5000 series. I'd wait a while until my current card was not getting optimal FPS or price drops on new cards or great deals on a new card before I upgraded, cause right now those cards can stomp any game on the market, I don't see the point in upgrading like that, waste of money IMO. But I can't tell people how to spend their money.

Bought a 4770 in this May, luckily I didn't spend that much on it (instead of buying a 4890). I'll be getting a 5850 as well!

Man i cannot wait for the 5870, and Windows 7 its gonna be a good year. I'm just hoping we get some actually decent DX11 games that truly show off its potential. DX10 was wasted, and is just disappointing.
