Are there any significant differences between a Micro ATX motherboard and just a standard ATX?

Specifically, these motherboards here:

ATX

Micro ATX

Only 1 PCI-E connector, so you can't run other devices that require a PCI-E slot.

Can't really say that the PCI-E 1x on the motherboard is good for anything because it's right there next to the heat sink will could cause interference for most pci-e 1x cards.

Well what I think is that MATX is like for small rooms and atx for mid sized rooms like for me I got a small bedroom and I'm gonna switch to a matx htpc gaming rig case so I can put my PC on my desk and get more space out of my bed room since my cosmos 1000 takes up sooo much room its not even funny.

If you have a mid-tower case I don't really see the point in getting a micro ATX motherboard.

Lol what its for rooms? It kinda makes sense but really it dousnt make any sense. It depends on the size of case not the room.
