Batman AA- Can't hear batman's voice

The audio seemed fine. Heard all the music and effects but I can't hear batman when he talks. All my other games seem fine. suggestions?

Agreed, I would double check surround settings. While the main channels are used for primary sound sometime the center channel is used for character voices. If you are set to use surround but only have a two speaker set up (or stereo headphones) then the character voice may be getting sent to a non-existent channel.

I'm using 5.1 turtle beach headphones. Will check the sound settings and play around with them. TY for the input guys...

Uhm. I entered the game and wanted to tinker with the sound settings but there is no option to turn surround sound off or on. I have this issue with my logitech 3.1 speakers and my 5.1 headphones. Funny thing is first session I played the sound was fine but when I came back a day later batman was mute.

Two things to try:

1) Update your audio drivers to the latest if you haven't already.

2) Set your audio output settings for Windows (not in the game) to stereo instead of 5.1. Even if that's just a temporary measure, you can try that to troubleshoot if it's an audio mixing issue. Here's a thread on that:

While it will most probabely be one of the previously mentioned issues, it could be a sound file issue, being that everything else works except Batman's dialog.

Change your sound settings in control panel not in game.
