Battlefield 2142 Update Failed... need help

Well.. I got 2142 and yeah.. I need to get patch 1.2 however, after I installed from the download link in the EA site.. I get something called "update failed at 24%... i tried it many times over and over from the suggestions from other forums but it doesnt work... need help

I downloaded my update from filefront.  I don't use EA downloader (I hear to many problems about that program).  Download the update from filefront and give it a shot.notmeyoufool
