Battlefield 3 is the worst AAA game this year.

The back-end of the single player is just pathetic. They're so lazy they make you redo a section of the game (albeit it is brief). And people compare COD to Transformers. It was honestly like the worst kind of Hollywood cheese.

The single player should not have been included at all.

Singleplayer sucks but i never buy BF games for singleplayer, the multiplayer is alot of fun.

Dead Space 2 is worse.

I stopped playing BF3 SP in the first Iran level. Metro, Grand Bazaar, Damavand Peak and Seine Crossing are HORRIBLE. I'd rather have Arica Harbor, Port Valdez and Atacama Desert from BC2 instead of those.

Hopefully that and the patch that comes with it improves things.

The last patch made the game a lot worse for me. What is with all these major releases being made worse with patches!?!

This game has been a massive disappointment in almost every area, especially the map design. Not only are the maps we have very poorly created (Caspian is basically one of the only good maps out of 9), but they also get old quick and just don't seem very memorable in any way. I think the gunplay is better than Bad Company 2 and I like the movement, but the rest of the game feels very sloppy (like the terrible UI and squad interface, lack of a functional commo rose, no commander, etc.) and the single-player component was one of the worst I've ever played in a big name game.

What's up with all the dirt on screen and lens flares anyway? Most fights in the campaign have a couple of stadium lights pointed straight at your eyes and you can't see ****.

other then the single player being utter trash i cant get into multiplayer at all. the reason BECAUSE U NEED to unlock EVERYTHING its so danm annoying. even for the russian side you at times need to unlock it seperatly .i cant play fps games much cause i get sick now from them so the need to grind so much is just frusterating. i couldnt progress at all in multiplayer because of this

Even with all the rage bc2 brought. I have to agree. I have never had a battlefield game that i'm ready to give up within the first month.

I quit the game whehnj I realized that the new patch is 2G.:(

BF3 and FIFA 11 are the worst AAA games this year...FIFA 11 could win worst online game ever and The football game that dosent care about football rules etc...

P.S.Oh and those who say "but i like bla bla bla..." YOUR the reason why pc gaming is in this state...

I'd still say that BF 3 leagues above MW 3 online. Even if it is one of the weaker entries in the series. MW 3's competitive multiplayer is just terrible, not in comparison to other games, but on its own. I still like BF 3's multiplayer, it has great visuals and mechanics, but it lacks the grand sense of coordination throughout the entire team of previous games.

Which game is better overall, that's a different question, the co-op in MW 3 is pretty decent.

well SP was ok but definately was expecting more.. mp is fun but the constant disconnections/freezing issues are frustrating.. Hope these are fixed somehow..

I just want a 2142 expansion. Give me back my Titans damnit!

Opinions opinions... you love the new AC I think its the worst game since Gothic4, but I enjoy BF3.

You might love the game, but there's no way you love how incapable Dice is at making them, they can't do patches, they even break more things than they fix (perhaps they don't understand what the term "patch" was invented for).

If the game would actually be as good as the first impression, it would be the best shooter ever made, as it actually is tho, it's one of the worst, because of itself not because of what it "can" offer and that is not an opinion, as for AC that's you, don't get what you don't like since the new missions are outstanding and the overall quality of the game is much higher.

That's the difference between facts and opinions, you managed to contain both in your post, what you think about AC is an opinion, the game's quality is outstanding, on BF 3 you can have opinions too, but the game is terrible, it's not a quality product and it won't be if we look at BC 2. (I don't like it-like it/game is outstanding vs I don't like it-Iike it/game is a mess)

People give too much "credit" to Bethesda, Dice makes by far the worst games around (at least their shooters which is everything they make, ME was luck considering the pathetic state of their games since BC 2).

I like BF3 much more than BF2 and any COD except for the fact that it crashes every map change or when Im joining servers. That game has some serious issues. Otherwise, its the best online shooter out there. I havent tried RO2, but I hear that game is fubared.

The campaign...well yeah its pretty lame, but it didn't seem any worse than the lame COD campaigns.
