BBC2 vs CODMW2 What game do you prefer and why?

My personal opinion is that the Call of Duty campaign is much more intense with a better storyline, however the online is flawed and kill streaks ruin it because it creates campers left, right & centre.

Bad Company 2 has a decent campaign but it excels in online multiplayer, there is no one man army and its all about team work, i also like the fact it takes a few bullets to drop an enemy, the bullet drop in sniping is just excellent and if I come across a rare camper, i just explode the building he's hiding inside ;)

What's your opinion?

MW2 has a solid campaign, but the online multiplayer is glitchy and annoying. It's great fun split-screen at a friend's house, though.

BC2 was great fun online for a while, but it got boring.

this question was asked pretty recently and i think our stance is pretty clear

this is a tough one. Even though I'm a die hard fan of CoD series, this time I'd pick BF BC2, because of the better MP, but I'm still waiting for CoD MW3 to reconsider my choice :D

CoD, I play demolition with my friends and it's a lot of fun, also the movement and gunplay is quite good despite imbalances. It's fun taking a break from CS and going into MW2 and ripping it up with your friends, it's so easy to dominate in that game if you're in a good party.

BC2 is a slow and clunky game with terrible gunplay, I don't like it at all.

I wouldn't want to play with them anyways haha. They would probably just run a gun, and wonder why they can't kill anything.

I've played both a lot and I easily prefer MW2, even with the hackers and all that. Although MW2 doesn't have dedicated servers, I don't find that BC2 benefits enough from having deds. The hit detection in the game is awful. The layout of the maps provides snipers with these ridiculous vantage points, and with hardcore mode, they don't need to aim for the head to drop you in one shot. There's so much more cover available in MW2 that I don't really rage at snipers. I also enjoy the perks, weapon unlocks and customization.. BC2's isn't nearly as intricate or as entertaining.

When it comes down to it, a good online shooter needs to have good gunplay, and BC2 doesn't have that.

Too bad the damn map packs for MW2 are so expensive. If they were $5 each, I'd probably be playing the game again.

Bad Company 2, because we have a term where I'm from for the price that MW2 SHOULD have been. It's called an "Expansion Pack" generally they are lower priced because they use the same engine as the previous game, and add very little content on top of it.

First all of, lets not pretend that campers are not on BFBC2, because like all FPS online multiplayer games it is infested with them. I can recall several times where I'm getting shot HALF way across the map by some kind and his unique hiding spot. Not to mention most players camp in buildings as well. Call of Duty MW2 has campers too and on the same level. The killstreaks don't cause camping, you're just mad that they kill you.

The only advtange BFBC2 has over MW2 is to some no killstreaks, less cheaters(for now), and destructible environments.

They're both pretty bad. A real game like CSS is much better than both of them.JigglyWiggly_
