I'm going to recommend the Klipsch Promedia 2.1's. They've been around a long time, but if you're into listening to music on your PC I still think they're some of the best. Combine them with a good sound card and you're golden. I'm a big fan of Klipsch in general, and have been very impressed with these speakers versus any other 2.1's that I've heard.
Save up a bit more and grab a Razer Mako good reviews on that 2.1 set. Hekynn
I have the Mako and it is amazing. However, its incredibly expensive and the only reason i got it was because i was in need of a studio speaker system. The logitech ones are good cause they're(relatively) cheap.
I'd get the Klipsch Promedia 2.1's. They supposedly kill the Logitech Z-2300s (which I own). But if you're going to be listening to music at all, I'd get the M-Audio AV 40s, or save up for AudioEngine 2s or 5s.
Klipsch PRo Medias are well regarded as the best PC speakers (non-pro montiors) ever made. If you don't mind 2.0 look at pro monitors from places like Behringer and M-Audio.
