Fun wiki fact: The Nihilanth chants "you are man... he is not man... for you he waits... for you...", suggesting that the Nihilanth might know a lot about the existence of the G-Man and confirming that the G-Man is some sort of extraterrestrial or extraplanar being.

I can't really think of any other decent ones.
A really bad one was recently in Tomb Raider Anniversary. Aw man, both in fact, were just awful. I almost had to quit.
I think was Kotor 1 and 2 was an epic battle, and Seymour of Final Fantasy XMulanos
that battle was friggin epic, and also those giant mother effers in painkiller, but shadow of the colossus has the best "bosses" of any game
[QUOTE="mf1986"]End (end is his name) from MGs3
the army dude from RE4
Mr.smith in WoW (lol)

The Blast Pit monster in HL1.

I think we have a winner. One of the most infamous stages in a game!!
[QUOTE="biswajit90210"]doom 3 hell knights....and yes every boss battle in painkiller..from the very first level man they were epic....!!!!SimpJee
Painkiller is such an underrated game. So amazingly fun. That boss in the graveyard was just sick.
was that the really giant one?
i thought the bosses in Painkiller were well-constructed, but i didn't have the patience to work out how to kill them, as it was always quite complicated - so i used a walkthru just about every time
Gonarch/Big Mama. For an 8 year old it was terrifying yet hilarious.

YEECH :(
never mind an 8 year old, it looks pretty horrific to me now
Boss fights in RE4 were epic, but I guess the most recent boss that I'm proud of beating is Mike Tyson from the game I Wanna Be The Guy.
The title can go to none other than the largest humanoid to ever appear on-screen in any game, Ugh-Zan III (Serious Sam: The First Encounter).

Because boss battles are a really outdated feature and much more common in console games.
