Less than a week ago I got Flatout Ultimate Carnage for $2.00.
The best deal before that was the Codemasters Racing Collection with Dirt, Dirt 2, FUEL, GRID, and TOCA Race Driver 3 all for less than $20.00.
Back when Half-Life 2 came out I bought the Valve Complete Silver bundle which included every game of theirs at the time for something like $75.00.
Its either ArmA II for $20 or the Freedom Force Pack for $2. Had a lot of fun so far with both games.
the day i found out about steam years back and i linked my copy of Half Life 1 to it then it gave me CS 1.6, TFC, Blue Shift, Opposing Force, Deathmatch Classic, Ricochet, and Day of Defeat. what a suprise, i never knew game of the year edition did that

My exact story, except a bit different. My friend lent me the game to play, I installed it, then realized that I needed the CD key. So I put it into Steam, and a whole bunch of games came up. I was like, 'Ooooohh' and installed them. My friend was sitting on his computer in frustration, trying the same key over and over again in steam. It never did work :|

It would've been Stalker:SHoC for $1.49 (or was it 1.99?) or the free portal deal if I hadn't already have them at the time.
Gave my friend Eazy ROME TOTAL WAR for 2$ (Eazy if I dont see you playing the game more im a be real angry lol)
Also for me easy gave me Gothic2 for 99 cents I think, that was a crazy deal, as I lost my Gothic2 disc years ago.
What else....... KOTOR for 4$ on D2D that i gifted eazy aswell was a heck of a deal.
Last summer had some great deals to which I bought alot from.
I have been a Steam member for about 7 years now and I bought my first two games off Steam during this last sale. I bought Mass Effect for $5 and Overlord for $1.69.
