FPS- hmm hard one my personal favorite at the moment has to be Halo

RTS- Also hard probably Company of Heroes

Rpg- I loved diablo back in the day and now maybe Guildwars of WoW

single player: fallout 1+2

online: my social life was ruined by everquest 1+2:)

That's not an adventure game. An Action-adventure maybe, but not an adventure game.

FPS - Unreal Tournament - Starting with demo and later full game i played this a lot in multiplayer, probably most played FPS

RTS - Total Anhilation, and recent Relic games (dawn of war and CoH)

RPG - TES Morrowind (game I played most on PC) and Arcanum (fantastic, but sadly overlooked gem)

Adventure - Broken Sword and Monkey Island series

Driving - Rollcage (we used to play this big time in multiplay, great game)

Strategy games: Operation art of War (one of best grand strategy games) and Europa Univeralis I & II (never liked III part) and of course Civilization series

FPS: Quake III Arena

TPS: Max Payne 2

Adventure: The Longest Journey (best game ever)

RTS: Warcraft II

RPG: Diablo II

FPS: Half life (the original still playing it :) )

RTS: Starcraft

RPG: Neverwinter nights 2 or Diablo 2 both come close

Dunno, I never really thought of Diablo or DII as real RPGs.

RPG: Fallout, Baldur's Gate, IceWind Dale.

RTS: Probably still Starcraft.

FPS: Still love System Shock. Never been able to duplicate the ambient horror, though Call of Chthulu came close.
