Best INDIE game of 2011?

Serious Sam 3:BFE or Orcs Must Die.

Orcs Must Die gets my vote....Love finding different ways of Killing the Orcs. A fun game I can crack open for 15 minutes and let off some steam.

Having said that, it was a great year for 'indie' games...Limbo, Bastion and Frozen Synapse...all great.

Also, Huge kudos to 'Steam', because without it I would never have found any of these games.

P.S. to all Indie developers, make a demo and put it on Steam, if its good it will sell.

Hmm this year there were a ridiculous amount of quality Indie games but for me it would have to be Avadon.

So many indie games released this year. I recommend these titles from the top of my mind:

Damn that sucks, finished fine with no issues (other then some windowed mode small issues).

Great list bud, Only ones I have not played are Unepic, Frayed Knights and Cave Story

To the Moon and Bastion are the only ones I've played this year. Just started falling in love with Indie games, so I've a far way to go still.

I believe Witcher 2 still counts as indie. Definitely my vote there. IxX3xil3d0n3XxI

I'd have to go with Capsized. Such a wonderful game with an excellent soundtrack, beautiful visuals and fun gameplay.

And while I haven't played them, Hard Reset and EYE look amazing.
