My budget would be around $1000-$2000 and I would use the laptop for other things too. What laptop or brand makes laptops that are the best for gaming within my budget?

Oh and please don't say "build your own computer" because first of all I don't know how and second of all building a laptop woulld be very hard for an unexperienced person.

to know if your video card powerfullness in a laptop visit this website http://www.notebookcheck.net/Intel-Graphics-Media-Accelerator-X3100.2176.0.html
They are named by Category 1-2-3-4-5 . each show a level of power. 1 = Top. 5 = Worst note even think to run fine on that.
the top brand are toshiba satellite FOR Sli and not so expensive for 2000$
all the brand that good for high end are : Toshiba : asus : dell : alienware : msi : HP : Gateway unsure.
all what matter is Screen resolution : video card inside : and CPU and 9-cell battery or you can replace it for a 9-cell battery from a 6-cell battery
you find the best price for video card & cpu and your in

If you got cash to burn this laptop will run any game out right now and even crysis on high.

However I would not recommend a labtop for gaming because thats just silly. Do you know how much power a gaming labtop drains? you'll just end up using it as a desktop rather than a labtop by just leaving it on the charger all the time.

Since this goes over my budget what should I downgrade so I can get the best performance for gaming(maximum 2 games installed at once) but a lower price?

I don't care what anyone said, that thing is not worth $2700, that's ridiculous. Quad sli on a laptop, you'll have the battery life of 5.............minutes.

It's a Cyberpower... so it's likely about $5 of parts recovered from a dumpster and put together with duct tape.

Anyhow... with a 1000-2000 budget you can get a very nice laptop. Like this one that will max out everything pretty much:

ASUS M70 $1549.99

It would be ludicrous to waste money on an expensive laptop, be it Sager or Cyberripoff, when it's going to have a half-life of about a couple years at best since laptops are not upgradable and often have overheating issues that further shorten their lifespan.

5 minute you mean 30 minute ? don't ya know sli is made for stationed laptop in a power bar
or any plug of votlage. but in 5 year or less they are talking about a way to make laptop with methanol battery but there other alternative in thinking. cause methanol is offering only 10 hour of service for. now. and not really know it in testing. with laptop like. changing the 9 cell for one of those on current laptop . and it durate 10 hour instead of like 2 hour. or 3 .
