I need the best and slickest mouse pad...no roll ups or textured surface need apply.

Been wearing off too many mouse feet lately and the pad has got to go.

Been Googling ( New Egg etc ) but it's hard to tell slickness by a picture. I can't drive so I can't go the nearest comp store to try them out.

I need a mouse pad so slick that the mouse moves by just blowing on it.

My old pad would do it with my RAT 7....but the pad has had it and I've been replacing feet every 2 weeks now.

Someone point me in the right direction...

Money is no object

You could try putting electrical tape (that thin slick black kind of tape) over where the mouse feet should be. Better yet, you could cover the entire surface of the mouse - minus the ball/laser areas with electrical tape.

I already got mouse feet tape...sheets of it.

I just need to find a new mouse pad so I'm not grinding my mouse feet off every 2 weeks...Tired of ordering 2x a month from Slick Surfaces.

The tape works ok...but again only last a few days.

I game alot !!!

Guess I'll take another look at Ratzpadz .... It is my pad..it's got scratches in it big time now...I sprayed some Pam on it for tonight so it's a little better.

Edit : I play at 4.5 k DPI or higher so a scratch or slight hitch can really throw off my game. The RAT 7 does a headshot button though..drops DPI to predefined ( by you ) accuracte DPI.

I want it Air Hockey table smooth..

Spend 80 on a mouse might as well drop the ponies for mouse pad / surface ?

I have seen some on line that look great ( and priced to match ) but until I actualy set my mouse on it I don't know which one to get. I want to be able to blow on the mouse and have it move...and up until this last month my old mouse pad ( Razer ) one did just that. Just bump the mouse and it would slide off the pad....good times.

I use the Razer Goliathus control edition, I love it, but if you want the slickest surface you should check out the Razer Goliathus Speed edition. Comes in different sizes too.

I use the Icemat 2. Its a glass mousepad with a frosted interior. It works fine with laser mice. Might nto work too well with optical, but almost no one makes optical mouse except for cheap sub $20 mice.

The company they made it was bought out by another manufacturer, so they dont make the Icemat 2 anymore, and its been rebranded as something else. Just look for Glass Mouse Pad.

It WILL grind your mouse feet extremely quickly (probably 2 days) but then it will equalize with the flat surface of the glass and it'll be smooth. Because the "pad" is so flat a tiny spec of dust or hair will be extremely apparent when you use your mouse. Fortunately, the glass surface is very easy to clean and will pretty much never wear down like a traddional cloth/plastic mousepad will.

Its relatively expenside at $30-ish, but well worth it since i'll probably never need to replace it.

I like my Razer Goliathus gaming mat. Using it with Logitech G500 gaming mouse and works great.

So I can't really tell what's the best gaming mat. It could be an individual taste of yours.

There is a company that makes Teflon mouse pads, you could also use a non-stick baking tray and Dremel out a panel. Other than that the Steelseries SX is the smoothest pad, regularly reviewed as being too smooth.

Steelseries bought them out and they still make it under the Icemat name

I've been wanting to get the Razer goliathus extended for quite a while now, but haven't brought myself to pay $30. Hopefully it will eventually go on sale.

take a few 11X7 letter size pieces of paper, fold them in half and use the mice on that.  Or use a magazine it should do as well.  Back when I had no money this is wht I had to do and it worked suprisingly well.
