Best online games currently

I have been away from the PC scene for some time and I was just wondering if someone could fill me in.

What are currently the best PC games for online multiplayer.

Not really looking for MMORPGS.

I mean best in terms of online community(number of people who play multiplayer etc.) and best service and of course fun to play.

Counter-Strike:Source

Battlefield 2

Team Fortress 2

Unreal Tournament 3

Crysis Warhead

Yeh, sorry! How could I forget Left 4 Dead!? =) It's one of the more popular games atm. Great fun with friends and Hardest difficulty.

Yeh, I'm new to the serious PC scene (God, if you don't believe me check my STeam Card) and I would of thought that Call of Duty WAW is pretty big atm?

But everyone's talking about L4D so yeah try it, i'll buy it :)

As far as FPSs go, I'd recommend CoD4 (wich is still more popular than WaW), CoD WaW (if you prefer a WWII setting) and L4D.

For RTS, I'd say Warcraft III. Lil old, but still very popular and in my view still the best out there.

for rts warcraft 3 in europe it still is very popular and imo best online game. For shooters I would CSS is best. WoW has some sort of magic gameplay I think every PC gamer should play it for 2/3 months because longer would make you an addict and shorter wouldn't give you full experience....
