Dawn of War, mainly because I'm a huge 40k fan :P

A lot of my childhood was spent playing Red Alert 2 and Tiberian Sun. Command and Conquer is what got me into PC gaming. After that I was mostly a console gamer (PS2 FTW) The first time I ever cared about PC specs and became a PC gamer was when C&C 3 was released. Up until that point I just played the old C&C games.
Starcraft BW for gameplay
Starcraft 1 for story
Starcraft 2 for singleplayer (the missions were great in SC2, but the story was terrible, SC2 ruined the lore, screw you chris metzen)
My favorite is the C&C franchise (all of them) like I said in an earlier post.
There are some others that I played along the way that are very notable as well.
Earth 2140 and 2160 were pretty good. Starcraft, Warcraft I&II, Dark Reign II, Fragile Alliance, and Outpost II, were some older ones that I played a bit of back in the day. They were all pretty cool.
Some really good ones are World in Conflict (need to get and play the soviet expansion in near future), Supreme Commander (both), Company of Heroes, Star Wars Empire at War... Emperor (Dune game, actually need to get a copy of that hopefully gog.com will get it soon)
I recently got on Steam the RTS Act of War: Direct Action, (working on Vista64, just need to set maximum memory to 3gb in msconfig advanced boot options, that 3gb includes the VRAM on your GPU as well)
Once you get it working its actually a pretty awesome game, its like if you mixed C&C and COH together in a modern setting. So far its very entertaining. Unless something goes horribly wrong with the gameplay, (I have only been playing it a day or two) it will easily fit in there with WIC and COH. Which is honestly the main reason I posted in this thread was to mention Act of War.
Great thing is there is a Sequel Act of War:High Treason on Steam, as well as two whole other games that are out and cheap that I might look at, Joint Task Force, and Warfare.
I also have my eye on this Wargames: European Escalation, C&C Generals 2 as well, even Nuclear Dawn.
I haven't got to play SCII yet, saving it for later. I have the Vietnam Men at War, but haven't really got delved into it yet, guess I am saving it for later. So many great RTS games. Enough to keep me busy for sometime to come.
Sorry for the wall of text lol, Im tired.
Starcraft 2 is a fantastic game, but nothing that I've played can even come close to the glory that is Company of Heroes. That game deserves its own shrine in the Smithsonian. If you count hybrid games like the Total War series, I'd have to throw them in as well.
For all those trying Total War for the first time (well, any of them before Napoleon, that is) I can't stress enough the importance of downloading and running Darthmod. It improves graphics, physics, tactics, ranges, and most importantly, AI and diplomacy. It's like playing a different game when compared to vanilla. A much better game. Ok, stepping down from the soap box now.
[QUOTE="chaoz-king"]I like C&C 3, Civ 4, and CoH.SF_KiLLaMaNCiv isn't an RTS. I thought about that after I posted. Yeah I know that game is turned based.
There are just so many strategy games that I love, but my favourites are probably:
Company of Heroes
Rise of Nations
Rome Total War (havent played the others yet, but I will probably buy Medieval 2 TW or Shogun 2 TW)
Age of Mythology
Sins of a Solar Empire for me too! What an awesome game, can't wait for the standalone expansion, Rebellion!
