Best shooter

What is your FAVORITE pc shooter of all time?

Mine would have to be soldier front. (its also free)

SF is kinda like CS 1.6 but with slightly better graphics and lots better gameplay.

Half Life (1, 2, and all the available mods for each).

Granted Farcry was average, but Crysis is actually its "Successor", predecessor denotes that it is the first game. 

Gotta go with Rise of the Traids, myself.  In my opinion, this game revolutionized the head-to-head aspect of FPS, introducing a variety of game types beyond the standard deathmatch.  It was also one of the first to have a truly 3d environment.  Compare it with Doom 2, the other major FPS at the time.

Close behind this is Doom 1+2 (not 3), Half Life 1+2, Goldeneye, and Halo.

I think Chrome had better graphics and jungle "settings" than Far Cry, considering that the game was released 1 year before Far Cry.

while i'd like to say system shock 2, i don't really consider it a "shooter" - it's too much a hybrid and there's never really a focus on shooting

my favourite full blown shooter is and will always be doom & doom 2, but of recent stuff, i'd put f.e.a.r very highly up there 

Battlefield 1942 ! :)

But nowadays its still Battlefield 2 :D

FPS: Call of Duty series

TPS: Can't decide 'cos there are too many great third person shooters ( I like TPS a LOT more than FPS )

i mean, honestly, what rational, intelligent person could think call of duty 3, halo and halo 2 deserved to be amongst the best shooters? heh, pfft!

gotta say tho, not sure if it count, but im still playin ut2004, so i gotta go with that, i gotten 1000's of play hours outta it, and its always fun

actually no. ive played millions of fps games, but most are on consoles. if you havent noticed i said fav PC shooter, and soldier front is the best game my crappy computer can play.

It might have been unbanned. I heard that gta3 was banned in canada but not until a few months ago I learned otherwise.
