Pandora Tomorrow is my second choice. I can't think of any other games like Splinter Cell, but the Metal Gear Solid has some similarities.
Conviction is great, the game is best played with a co-op buddy. The game includes a 5 hour co-op campaign.
So it's not really similar to the other Splinter Cells but it's still good...sexygirl6t9
Yep, it's still a good game. Not sure how the PC version is though, I own the 360 version (It was super cheap, 12 bucks :D )
When compared to it's predecessors, Conviction is a terrible Splinter Cell game. As a standalone, it's very, very average. This game was barely able to hold my attention, but I forced myself to finish it, because well, I already paid for it.
The gameplay is way too simplistic for an action-stealth game. Missions felt really repetitive. Sneak, slip into cover, execute, rinse-repeat until you get to the "end-guy" you're looking for. Interrogate him. Next mission. It's like Assassin's Creed 1 disguised as a Splinter Cell game, with just the SC-name.
Feel free to disagree with me, but all the neat ideas and concepts they INITIALLY had for Conviction would have made it a much better game. BUT, Ubisoft scrapped all the "deep" and meaningful blue-print, scrapped it, and made a really dumbed-down Splinter Cell game. Majorly disappointed on so many levels.
was it chaos theory?just a warning I bought the older SP on steam during a sale and I couldn't get them to run on win7

conviction turned out a lot better then i expected and i would go so far as to say it was considerably better than double agent (the less said about the pc version of that the better).
but it's not a great game and is definitely not in the same league as the first three games (and the ps2/xbox double agent). id buy it only if youre a big fan of the series or have no other games to play
[QUOTE="fivex84"]Indeed...god that game was great. word. i couldnt find anything wrong with it. it nailed the stealth action and was quite revolutionary at the time of release.I enjoyed Chaos Theory the most.
