I just bought Nexus on Steam for $10, and wow, its aged very well. The graphics and the gameplay are both still fresh and relevant.
A very different style of strategy from any other RTS I've ever played, because the focus is on managing your one space vessel and all of its components. So you need to divert energy to shields, weapons, support, put priority on repairing specific parts of your ship, send out fighters to take care of incoming missiles and enemy ships, etc.
Its a nice change from the usual formula of building your base, amassing a large force, and zerging the enemy. I dont think its the greatest RTS ever, but it certainly is one of the most unique ones out there.
