Forget all those weapon types, just pick up a pistol and a knife. get Nuke way easier with those.

Nar unless you're playing with horrible people a knife class won't do wonders for your kill streak.
Depending on the map, I usually go with an M16A4 w/ ACOG on it and I run with full damage capabilities so I can take down people in one burst. Either that or I run with a blinged ACR (Silencer & RDS) and run in a semi-stealthy mode. I enjoy Cold Blooded and then I typically always run with Commando Pro. Occasionally I run with a Silenced ACR, Scavenger Pro, Cold Blooded, and Ninja Pro. That's just for bad word for poop and giggles.
Take it from me, there is no best gun in the game. There are definitely certain types of guns, attachments, and perks that are better suited to certain maps AND certain game modes AND certain in-game circumtances, though. in Sabotage and Ground War modes, for example, it's hilarious to use an assault rifle with a grenade launcher attachment as well as some sort of launcher as a secondary, like the RPG or thumper. Then you throw in scavenger and danger close perks and you'll be laughing at how funny the game has no become. If you don't already know, Sabotage and Ground War game modes are madness, tons of guys blasting each other with tons of blue packs for you to scavenge while you just spam the nube tube. It's hilarious. Hopefully I'll see you around in the games!
Anyways, that's just one example of varying guns and perks being effective in specific contexts. Aside from the 1887's strangely long range (which is kinda unfair in many one-on-one encounters), the weapons and perks are generally well-balanced. As many folks in here have said, find some combos that you like and max them out.

So adorable
Whatever you say dude.[QUOTE="nutcrackr"]Noob tube is the best!dakan45Whats that? and thats another reason why I miss Dedi Servers , I mean sometimes its fun to use it but when someone make it it his Primary weapon with Scavenger and keep tubing all the time It become really mean . good job IW you f***ed up MW 2 experience again !!
Come on miller, you can't just say "I disagree", this isn't how discussion works :D Say what you disagree with and why and then we might get somewhere.
Anyone who uses the grenade launcher should be burnt at the stake in my opinion. A bit of an exaggeration but I couldn't live with myself getting cheap kills like that, it's like when people camp, how can you do that? I'd feel so dirty.
Dakan, noob tube is the grenade launcher
ah the glorious grenade launcher its fun when your not on the receiving endCome on miller, you can't just say "I disagree", this isn't how discussion works :D Say what you disagree with and why and then we might get somewhere.

For hardcore I like using the Fal or the m-16. Pretty much one hit kills from across the map. Otherwise I like to use the ACR generally, Intervention for sniping and quick scoping, mp5k + spas 12 for CQB and i use the last lmg (mg240? or something).
And at the Noob tube comments, jesus I hate people who use the tube with scavenger and danger close, they don't even have to aim anywhere near you to get 3+ kills every time.
i say use what you will, any perk, any weapon, any strategy, just no hacking..
im tired of people saying ohh thats a noob weapon, and ohh thats a noob attack.. lol come on seriously
i use any and all weaponry, i get called names, i dont care... cause why they are mad cause they just got blown up by rocket launcher or grenade, calling me a noob and whatnot... im in the lead.
im getting mw2 in a couple of weeks for my pc. but these are the "rules" i go by for mw1, and will go by for mw2.
