I've had zero problems with the game other than a minor Steamcloud quick-save issue and since the patch that disabled it, the quick-saves are working again (although I still don't rely on them).
The piling on Obsidian is getting pretty old. It's a good example of the hive-mentality that's becoming much more commonplace in PC gaming. There are certain companies that get free-passes while others get ripped for releasing comparable products. I have to wonder how many of the people complaining have actually played the freakin' game. My guess is that it's pretty low.
Furthermore, most of the PC reviews that have mentioned bugs have also said they are relatively minor glitches, most having to do with Bethesda's engine and not Obsidian, and I've yet to read one review that says these bugs detract from the game or are game-breaking. The console version is possibly a different story but, then, I couldn't care less about the console version.
Oh, and I'm not discounting or dismissing that there are some people who are having real, legitimate issues with the game but that I'm afraid is simply the nature of PC gaming. On an open platform with literally thousands upon thousands of different hardware setups there will always be some people having conflicts while others have none. It's simply not possible for a developer or publisher to test a game on every possible permutation of PC hardware.
If somebody can name me one RPG that hasn't had bugs, hasn't needed a few patches to tidy it up, and has run flawlessly on every system I'd sure like to know about that game because I've never played it.
