Big rigs: over the road racing.. not for real .. right?

I mean, this game is obviously horrible. Obviously the worst pc game ever made. I think they purposely made this to take the title of worst PC game ever made. Or did they actually think the game was decent and ready for release?

But to think some poor person paid full price for this game..Wakanoid

It was probably a budget price game and even then would you expect a game called big rigs: over the road racing to be good?

According to Sergey Titov, the person credited as a lead programmer, he licensed his proprietary 3D engine by TS Group Entertainment to Stellar Stone "in exchange for a large chunk of the company", and the game was released in a pre-alpha state. Actual sales figures for the game are unknown, although GameSpot has stated that "perhaps most disgusting of all is that this game actually sold copies. More copies, in fact, than more than half of our finalists in the Best Game No One Played category", the criteria for which is selling fewer than 20,000 copies of the game.

I have played the game and it is quite possibly the most fun I have actually had with a game. The game is so broken and terrible that is literally made me laugh the entire time. Only 2 of the 5 races worked, the opponent driver never moved (apparently a patch made the opponent move, but made him stop before finishing the race), you go faster backwards, can drive through any building, through bridges, over mountains, and outside of the map. Oh and obviously the "You're Winner !" is just awesome. I still question why there is a space between the "R" and the "!".

It was just so hilarious that I couldn't stop playing (eventually did, but oh well). The best part is going backwards because I ended up getting to around 300,000 mpg or something like that and when I stopped (immediately after letting go of the back key) my Big Rig was super messed up. It was side ways and I couldn't only see part of it because half of it had disappeared.

I really want someone to re-release that game as is on steam with multi player and a 4 pack because I would for sure.

Oh man, when I get off work, I'm firing me up some Big Rigs, it like no other game I ever played!!!!

When I first started at GameSpot, Alex Navarro put me through an internal "initiation" that involved forcing me to play Big Rigs. Oh, it's real all right. I didn't sleep for days--sometimes because I was laughing, other time because I was crying.

The standard that Big Rigs sets over other racing games is unbelievable.

Don't get me wrong, Dirt 2 & Forza 2 are great games, but they don't even come close to Big Rigs.

I actually want to play this game, but can't be bothered to buy it! It's a kind of self-torture I have to experience. C'mon it's the coolest game ever! Advanced technology! Have you seen them trucks going on hills without even slowing down? That is just awesome!
And the reverse? Just beautiful! It goest faster even when driving forward! That'ssmart thinking, guys!

Reading the review of Big Rigs made me SO tempted to buy it. If I saw a copy for cheap at gamestop, I'd probably buy it. gamestops review probably helped it sell copies. Beczause... Big Rigs, I wanna tell you that...
