I guess my biggest gaming-related disappointment of 2007 is finding out that Gamespot is now apparently controlled by scum. Merry Christmas, sleazebags.SpaceMoose
well that and the fact that NFS sucks and CoD4 is way too short.

I liked Bioshock, it's like a more approachable System Shock 2. I wouldn't say it deserved quite so much praise, at first I thought it was amazing but after finishing it I felt could've been better. The strong points of Bioshock, though, are exceptionally strong: the artwork, voice acting, and, imo the atmosphere. I, for one, enjoyed the combatbut some people seem to dislike it. I'm happy I enjoyed it, for I payed quite a bit of money for it. Now...after that long stretch of blahs...my biggest disappointment..
In all honesty... Team Fortress 2
It improved over Team Fortress, but it just didn't suck me in. I get bored of it too fast.
Pretty much every RTS so far this year has disappointed me. I keep going back to CoH ... although I must admit that WiC dominated my online play world from release through all of October. However, since UT3 came out, it's taken WiC's place. So ya, for me its been a bummer year for the RTS fan, and from the demo of UaW:EA, it doesn't look like its gunna change.
Other noteable disappointments include SimCity Societies (which kept me interested for one night), LotR:Online (terrible pvp mostly, tedious everything else), Tomb Raider Anniversary (killed the best parts of the original) and Two Worlds (which is more controversial than I originally thought).
Hehee that is very true.No KOTOR III (same as last year)
The 8800GT coming out, except in Australia it's easier to find a black market kidney (I assume, I actually haven't looked, just in case you were wondering) than the card, let alone for a reasonable price.TBL_1
I was lucky enough to snag one of the fest well priced 8800GT (Asus) for $330 AUD.
All my other mates who had new PCs planned have had to put them on hold to wait until more stock comes in.
Otherwise you could always spend an extra $100 on one (erk)
Toss up between Bioshock or Crysis. I say Bioshock because the gameplay is so dull let alone story made absolutly no sense, however I love the quotes and environments. I included Crysis cause I expcted alot not only from visuals but for gameplay and the gamepaly felt as if I played it already let alone the optimization was very poor to enjoy the visuals.
On the side note Im dissapointed with the Xbox 360 and thus far will always be a dissapointmentuntil they fix the rrod issue. From now on the xbox 360 will be label as the xbox3sh***y. I WANT TO PLAY PERFECT DARK ZERO!
OoSuperMarioO
What?
Crysis runs smooth and flawless on my rig at the highest settings.
Nothing wrong with the game at all, you jus need an upgrade or two.
Bioshock is great! I love the campy story and atmosphere...great game, cool original concept.
COD 4 is my biggest disappointment. I beat the singleplay in 3.5 hours only to get online and have my butt handed to me on a platter by aimbotters and such. Last time I'll ever play anything online again, and the last COD I'll ever buy.
Scripted rail shooters with never ending spawning enimies sux. (Graphics were cool though, just not utilized properly.)
