Bios update Help please!!

OK I have the new bios version from Abit and now I want to upload them on a bootable USB because I dont have floppy. I am useing HP's bootable floppy utility. my question is where is my DOS system files located at and how to I add the abit bios to the dos usb after I am done?

Bro... my best advice is borrow a floppy drive and a brand new floppy disk and update your bios that way its soo much easier... just make sure that when updating theres nothing that can reset or turn off your computer cause if your computer shuts off while updating.. you my frineds are screwed.....

ya know what, I give up. I have been sitting here for more then six hours trying to install updates, drivers, and bios and guess what, no luck at all. I had vista in this PC, my mobo dosent support it so I switched to xp, no drivers. I swear Abit sucks.

ya know what, I give up. I have been sitting here for more then six hours trying to install updates, drivers, and bios and guess what, no luck at all. I had vista in this PC, my mobo dosent support it so I switched to xp, no drivers. I swear Abit sucks.TrooperManaic

I did all of that in Windows and you do know that Abit has a way to update your B.I.O.S. in Windows?

That is about the worst way possible to update your bios... I highly suggest that NOBODY EVER do this. Putting your bios in the hands of windows, when it is risky already doing it outside of a microsoft OS is ... well, scary...
