[QUOTE="overkill88888"]for me it was the controls, they just didn't feel as tight as i wanted them to
felt like a console game on pc

Agreed, mang.
The controls are a little loose, but its not stopping me from playing it.This topic is locked from further discussion.
I think maybe I just got too many new games at one time. Kind of like when you go out and buy a stack of books you want to read and then cant get into any of them because you have too many options.Store24
i have 4 books out of the library and i dont read any of them for this reason, i had to fight with myself not to get a couple more.
i was never really impressed with the demo, one of those games ill get around to someday, when all these new games loose their fun.
[QUOTE="CassiusGaius"] Crysis is in the same damn boat as Bioshock with respect of more open gameplay options. Yet, Crysis lacks the options. Four direct nano suit options is hardly variety and the guns flat out suck.ADG_What kinda drugs are you on? The guns in BS sucks big time, and the gameplay in BS is non-existant (I don't count whacking the zombies on the head with a wrench repeatedly as gameplay). Crysis has a lot more open gameplay options than BS could even dream of
Ya, I dont know how many diffrent ways I played the Crysis demo. Then when you come here you read about some other person's play style, say to yourself "wow that sounds fun I think I will try it!", then you spend another 30 mins playing the demo.
Just the other day someone recommended "cat and mouse" style where you zip in, snatch a korean, then zip back into the jungle while the second korean is left standing there, scared and confused. Very fun!
As for Bioshocks gameplay, they certainly did offer more than a few options but they definately dont seem to encourage you to use them.

You had no options with Bioshock really. You couldn't play the game the way you want to like in Crysis. It's as if 2K wanted to give every gamer the same experience whereas Crytek gives you the game and sandbox and tells you to go nuts. BS's weapons were also pretty crap. In fact, BS is the first game in which I didn't like the shotgun. Please Log In to post.
