If they handle it the same way as they did with the last 3 C&Cs, it's gonna be horrid.

I'm super excited. Not sure how Bioware will do. Have they ever made an RTS game? I HIGHLY doubt EA would let them make the same mistakes C&C4 and C&C Red Alert 3 did. They're not THAT stupid. Base building is a must and I say there's a 99% chance it will be in the game.

I thought C&C would have died with 4.

I am actually playing through Generals Now and having fun.

Sick.... Generals was very good though I heard that game already was detached from the roots already but thats the first CC I played. Loved it a lot.

A nice title choice to reboot.

Can we just let Command and Conquer die already? EA showed they obviously can't handle the series and I'm not very fond of one of my childhood favorites being butchered.

Which pretty much looks like this: buy the game = you get the default stuff, by the add-ons = get the real stuff ... or at least when you read what the article says ... I just hope this thing/game/product or whatever doesn't use Origins ...

I hope the default factions return: US, China and the GLA.

However, looking at EA past record, the GLA might not be playable cause they're terrorist and EA backed down pretty effortlessly on the Medal of Honour controversy.

And China might not be in this game since Generals was banned in China due to the scene of them getting bombed. I can see EA changing them to Russian or something, so China will allow it through.

If the default factions stay the same, I can hope a little.

I agree the factions shouldn't change based off of that kind of stuff. Too much false sense of pride in things, to where you can't even mention or refer to things unless a very specific light is used to make it shine.... Or people/countries/corporations/governments take offense.

Seriously, (in real life) one man's terrorist is someone else's hero, and one man's hero is someone's terrorist... Those two words (terrorist, and hero) are used extremely loosely, in the war mongering propaganda. Freedom of speech right? (yeah), but I can definitely see how that freedom is slowly shaved away, if EA does something like you stated above, then that just adds to the long list of examples of this happening within the gaming world.

swtor is a horrid game.. beta was a disgrace.. anyone who's been hyping it is in denial almost as bad as the folks that praised burning crusade XD

Plus they get to use it as an excuse for not selling the game on Steam, so it's a win-win for them. Unless that's what you meant by their 'business model', of course.

Anyway, I get that slapping Bioware's name on it has probably already doubled the game's sales...but does EA really want to drag Bioware's name through the mud like this? Moreso, I mean.

Usually your posts are well informative, (especially on hardware) but this on the other hand, strays in the opposite direction. Another case of one's opinion being the end all, be all.... (which has quite a degree of denial in it ironically)

I can understand being dissapointed by a game, including TOR, but there is a VERY apparent hate SWTOR bandwagon, much like the HATE COD bandwagon. Whats sad is it hasn't even launched!

I find Plants vs Zombies a ridiculous game, that I wouldn't ever play, but do I harp on the people who play it, or think they are in denial, no! I actually go have fun playing the games I like.

Now I don't mean to offend or annoy friend, but this exaggerated hate on SWTOR bandwagon is becoming quite annoying. Actually the whole HATE bandwagon on a few game franchises is getting quite old as well.

Now actually on topic, I really do hope this new C&C game is done well, RA3 and C&C4 were really lacking. (aside from the co-op they added, which was nice) C&C is one of my top 3 favorite gaming franchises.

Not a fan of C&C but i'll give it a try considering it's a PC EXCLUSIVE!!!
