Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale 2010: What did you buy?

So, that was actually the 1st sale that I was partaking pretty actively because I don't own a credit. This time, I've bought my self a 50$ visa giftcard (I had to give myself a limit, or I would've bought everything!). So I finally had the opportunity to buy some games that I always wanted, but couldn't buy on Internet because I don't have any paypal account or credit card. I know that wasn't the best sale EVER on steam, but I think there were pretty good discounts. So, this is all what I've bought:

GTA: Episodes from Liberty City 10.20$ on Steam

Orange Box 7.50$ on Steam

Street Fighter IV 10.20$ on Steam

Galcon Fusion 2.50$ on Steam

Left 4 Dead 2 5$ on Steam

Medieval II: Total War (Total Edition) 5$ on Gamersgate

Civilization IV 5$ on Direct 2 Drive

So I can say that I've got many games that I've wanted for SOOO long (Especially TF 2 in orange box and SF IV), and I've managed to get all this with my 50$ Visa Card. Thx to Steam and every other websites that had crazy deals :)

So, what did you buy?

I bought this monitor, and some DVDs.

As for games i bought GTA IV, but there was a problem on their side so they ended up giving me a coupon for a free copy of GTA IV.

SO, does anyone want to trade mass effect 2 or something for a coupon for free GTA IV?

Indie Story Indie Puzzle Indie Air Portal Orange Box Batman AA GotY Audiosurf Counterstrike-Source Grand Theft Auto EFLC Just Cause 2 Left for dead 2 Metro 2033 Dirt 2 Monkey Island 2(never played one, is this still good for a newbie? Nyxquest Supreme Commander 2 I built my first PC like a week or two ago so this was my first steam sale. It was GOOD lol. I think I may have gone a little overboard but i think 30 games is enough lolCoolSkAGuy

I'm just curious, How much it cost you for all these games? You probably saved A LOT and I just wonder how much =P

Alpha Protocol (I already owned it, but what the hell)

Someone from the UK gifted me Batman and Kane and Lynch 2 in exchange for Deathspank. Great deal, I got two games for the price of one!

Also I bought Vanquish from The Hut. I don't like the demos, but I'm splitting the cost with my friends so...

I regret not buying Blur.

Oh and I bought inFamous too... from my boss :lol:

I did not buy anything as I am waiting for the Christmas Steam sale. Was tempted with Torchlight being only 5 bucks the other day and regret not picking that up. Hopefully it will have a similar price again later ontestfactor888

I bought the Indie Air, Pulse, and Story packs. As well as Left 4 Dead 2, Kane and Lynch 2, and AvP from Steam. I also got Episodes from Liberty City for free from D2D, too bad I didn't put more items in my cart. Then last night I noticed they had Risen for $15 and decided buy it. Not bad for around $45.

Got a new 46" TV.. soooo awesome. First thing I watched on it was Scott Pilgrim vs The World :D

In terms of games, I bought Alpha Protocol, that first indie pack whatever it was, ARMA II & Operation Arrowhead, Resident Evil 5, uh.. Kane and Lynch 2... Shank.

I think that's about it. Decent haul. I was pretty disappointed with the last few days of Steam deals, but oh well.

Just L4D2 on steam for $5. I'm super super tempted to buy Batman AA at GamersGate for $10... just... say... the.. word...:x

Oh, and I built an HTPC for my family :P

Just Batman: AA and Machinarium for me, and I gifted a copy of Metro 2033 to a friend of mine. I'm pinching my pennies pretty tightly for the upcoming Steam-Sale-a-Geddon, since I don't have many of them to pinch. :P

The day ain't over yet though. :lol:

Alpha Protocol for $7.50 on Steam and Fallout New Vegas for $30 at Gamestop's digital store. I got GTA IV Complete from D2D for $10 and Age of Empires III Complete for $0.10 from Games for Windows Marketplace.

Just L4D2 on steam for $5. I'm super super tempted to buy Batman AA at GamersGate for $10... just... say... the.. word...:x

Oh, and I built an HTPC for my family :P

Most of the games I either had or were not interrested in :\ Im just counting the days till the x-mas sale now :D

I got the Indie Air Pack (little bro will dig it, Flotilla also looks awesome), Dirt 2, KOTOR, and Torchlight.

All for the sweet, sweet price of $20. Steam, I love you baby. Never leave me.

I'm in Canada and we don't get black Friday but did buy Metro 2033 off steam. 10 bucks for a game with high ratings thats not even a year old, pretty decent deal.

On Steam:

Kane & Lynch 2 for $5, Metro 2033 for $10 and Alien vs. Predator for $6.80.

Amazon:

Resident Evil 5 Gold (PS3) for $20, and Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare for $15.

I think that's it.

I bought the Indie Story Pack. Nothing else was of marginal interest. Hopefully the Christmas sales will be more pleasing.

On steam I bought the orange box for $7.50 and Alpha Protocol for $7.50.

On Games for Windows Marketplace I got AoE 3 for $0.10 and Bioshock for $2. I was really trying to limit how much I spent on games.

Dow II, Left 4 Dead 2, Dirt 2, SW:KOTOR

Civ V and New Vegas for 30 bucks each. :D

Indie story pack for Recettear, Dawn of War Gold from Gogamer, Dawn of War: Dark Crusade from steam (was too impatient to get a boxed lmao), Deadly Sin 2: Shining Faith from the devs website, and Lead and Gold I got for free from a buddy. $50 for 9 games is pretty good.

Picked up Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic, Kane & Lynch 2, and Alpha Protocol. All in all, a pretty good deal for what I paid for them. I couldn't ask for more. From GoGamer, I picked up Just Cause 2 for a mere $10 and on eBay, I grabbed up Red Dead Redemption for scraps. Lastly, GTA IV: EFLC from Gamestop.com digital download section for $5.

I cannot complain, really. I'm hanging on to the rest of my cash for Christmas sales. It should be big.

We stood outside Best Buy starting on Thursday ( yes, the day before Thanksgiving ) for 14 hours for some of the doorbusters. Good times. I have a lot of things to play before Christmas... loving the Assassin's Creed multiplayer.

Got 'Lara Croft and the Guardian of Light' for £5 on Steam. Great game, well worth it.
