I have Vista 64-bit and these specs:

Q6600 @ 2.4 GHz

4 Gig's of RAM @ 800 MHz (4 X 1GB's)

HD 4850

Creative X-Fi Xtreme Music sound card

Gigabyte 965P-DS3

The time before the blue screen occurs varies, when playing TF2 or Crysis Wars I can sometimes play only 1 match before a blue screen, or more than 3. Have tried installing and reinstalling with driver cleaner pro the latest drivers for all components, and have tried underclocking the RAM. Any help would be appreciated :)

EDIT: forgot to mention, happens only when playing games that stress the GPU, I occasionly play Roller Coaster Tycoon 2 (older game that hardly stresses the video card) and it runs fine. Also don't think it could be a hardware problem, have ran Windows XP with this same setup (only with 2GB's of RAM, and have used memtest to check if the RAM is bad and came up with no errors)

Yep...try those:D i have a feeling it might be the low stock fan speed on your card. I have the 4870 and it would get very hot as well.

Tempeture on the card isn't a problem, I have a custom cooler installed on it and at full load it only gets to 57C. Just installed the new drivers, but I don't have time to test them tonight, too much homework :x will bump this tomorrow if I still have problems.
