no, not for a long time, dvds are cheap and easy to manufacture, if you were gaming back then, you'll remember pc games coming on 4 or 5 (or more!) cds, we're really only just breaking the 2 DVD line, there's no honest reason to need to bump up to blu-ray, it's not better, it's just bigger - and since pc games run off installs, most pc games can use an install dvd, and a play dvd, and it hardly affects the gamer
and how many people actually own blu-ray drives? publishers would significantly hurt their ownincome by restricting who couldbuy their game- and since microsoft is backing hd-dvd, they sure won't push any publishers to use of the format
blu-ray is no better, really, just bigger - and we, as pc gamers, do not need it - not for a long time - blu-ray, or hd-dvd, or equivalent will eventually come, but right now, there's no need for it, and there just aren't enough blu-ray players in peoples' homes, never mind blu-ray drives in peoples' pcs
maybe by 2012 or so, assuming it becomes an industry standard, we may start to see blu-ray games, but we'll see 2 and 3+ DVD set games before then, they're cheaper to manufactureand more widely supported by gamers
