If I was 10 I'd be happy with that system, the only problem I could see is the lack of SM3 support, which some games are now requiring, R6 Vegas and Splinter Cell Double Agent are two that come to mind. More ram is always nice too. As for how long the system will last is hard to say, in the current config, I'm sure you would be able to find new games to play for the next 2 years. But that is just guess, depends on how fast PC start to require dual cores and DX10.BigDYeah definetely, luckily though its the shooters that usually require the higher end systems. At least the monitor will outlast the PC, eventually we will get him a core 2 and a dx 10 card. But thats probably right around 2 years away.
