Hi guys, I am new to this forum but I have been a reader of the site and forum for a while. I am hoping to build a desktop to play some games. Just had a few questions: 1. I am a fan of AMD processors, so I was wondering which of processor should I go for (I am hoping to spend around $100 maybe slightly over)? I am unsure which is better between Phenom X4/Phenom II X3/Phenom II X3 (I know the PII X4's are clearly the best AMDs right now). I hear that the new 45nm architecture on the PIIs are way better, but is it more important to buy Phenom I with quad core over a CPU with fewer cores? If you have a suggestion on which processor, would you mind also linking me to a cheap but dependable motherboard? 2. I am pretty clueless about CPU fans. I've built one computer in the past using the fan & heatsink that came with the processor, and it worked fine as I don't plan on overclocking or anything. Would the AMD heatsink/fan be reliable this time around? 3. I am also a noob when it comes to buying cases/power supplies. My past computer had a super cheap low quality one ($60 for case and 350W PSU) Thanks
