Building the PC yourself is more satisfying. It's fun, teaches you some stuff, and every time you look at the computer you'll tell yourself/friends "yep, that thing there I built myself" *rubs e-peen*"REX3453
..... anyway, theres a good chance they are charging extra on you for that, and you can't beat the experience of building your own (or the price).

Unless you are in Canada.. In which case NCIX is a much better option... Cross border Duty is terrible...

I basically know how to build one. Its just the cpu installation and the thermal gel and what not. Im afraid ill mess it up some how. Allso my question was if there any people who have bought parts or build a pc like im planning on doing from NCIX. I my self have never bought pc parts from a website before. Or anything from any website for that matter. Im just asking if Ncix.com is a good and trusted website to buy from.

I bought my 630 from them and some other parts which I do not remember... Oh my 7900 GT... Both were in perfect condition and served me well for the time I had them. I trust them completely... They are actually a rather large company...

Those two are okay but NCIX is much bigger and more professional. NCIX is based out of Vancouver BC. I have been to one of their shops. They have like 3 shops and a warehouse in Vancouver.

Anitec is more of a basement type operation.. Very nice to deal with but they don't stock a huge amount.

Canadacomputers... Some people like them but they are more of an eastern canadian company so I never dealt with them

Another option who I have ordered from and been to a retail store for is www.memoryexpress.com

I personaly would recommend www.ncix.com  Oh and www.tigerdirect.ca  is good to but I never really liked them a lot. (nothing wrong with them just the prices were not good enough)

Sometimes Tigerdirect has better deals but for the most part they are not cheaper... if you can get a "deal" Tiger is better... But if it's just regular price usually NCIX is better. Anitec often has the best price but sometimes I prefered the professionalism of NCIX. I usually would get my parts from NCIX, Anitec or memoryexpress depending on who was cheaper.... I quit looking at tiger because they were usually about 10% more expensive on regular priced items. Or they did not stock what I wanted.

Vancouver Island? I used to live in Courtenay... If you live there try Here Computers. If you live elsewhere... I have no clue... Though Odessy in Campbell River is Okay too. Nanimno I could never find good shops. Oh Tweakers was not bad in courtenay but you had to know what you wanted... They were um not so technical... Actually on Here Computers.... The guy I liked to deal with moved to Ontario so I don't know how they are now.

Edit: Oh it looks like you would be in Nanimno or Victoria if you are that close... Used to take me about 1:30 to get to nanimno.

Ah the place where Pamala Anderson grew up :P That's pretty close to Nanimno and I know nothing about computer shops up there.. The only time I went up there everyone was closed or didn't know what I was talking about. But yeah... If you go to NCIX's website is should give you an address and you can order things for pickup in the store... IE Order them and say you will pick them up at a certian store. Or you used to be able to..
