So im building a PC for a friend and here are the parts

E8400 dual core 3.0 ghz- 199$

PC Power & Cooling Silencer 750 Quad 750W- 140$ (I use this and i find it amazing)

Microsoft Windows XP Home Edition- 87$

EVGA Nforce 750I SLI Ftw LGA775 ATX DDR2- 199$ (Suggestions for mobo? does anyone have experience with it)

Corsair XMS2 PC2-6400 2 gigs- 74$

Antec P182 ATX Black Mid Tower Case (This case should have enough room right?, im also thinking of an Antec 900)

Seagate Barracuda 7200.11 3.5IN 500GB SATA2- 90$

EVGA E-GEFORCE 9800GTX Superclocked 700MHZ 512MB- 219$

total is 1150$ roughly.

Any suggestions to what parts should be switched?

Get vista, most games will require it in less than a year. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130350 thats the same card your getting buy its only 205. if you wanted to save 15 bucks.

Alrighty thanks! About htet card, how well does it preform? Compared to dual 8800 gt's or GTS for example. Is it "worthy enough" i might say:P

Well honenstly, with the 9800GTX+ coming out, and the ati 4850 and 4870. I would wait before paying 200 for that card. The 4850 has been benched better than it, and the 9800GTX+ is going to be much better and only cost 229.

I'm in the same dilema right now building my new comp. As of now i am going with the 4850. As far as the dual 8800GT's im not sure.

Looks good.

Motherboard might be overkill; I am sure its a good card, but you could save 50 bucks easy by getting something less expensive and proven. Still, I guess those 700 boards are good (I know I am happy with my 680).

Those are nice prices, ill consider using that site, and does anyone know the release dates for the new series of video cards?

Which ones? The 4850 is already avalible in alot of stores. The 9800GTX+ should be here in 2-3 weeks.
