My Cousin system Config :

Core 2 Duo E4400 2.0GHZ

2GB RAM

8600 GT 512MB

1280x720 Resolution

TechCom 450 w PSU (Check Below Link for more info abt. PSU)

http://www.techcomindia.com/index.php?vaction=productdetail&navact=computer&prodid=817&catid=100

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My cousin's 8600GT graphics card is almost dead after using nearly 5 years and want to buy new graphics card with no power connectors because his power supply dont have power connectors. So i told him to buy HD 7750.

Now my question is how much bottleneck will occur btw. HD 7750 and Core 2 Duo E4400 for 1280x720 Res. ? Even after Bottleneck can he get Average of 30FPS in medium or high settings for games like Battlefield 3, Grid 2, Black ops 2 and upcoming games.

Bottleneck will only reduce FPS or it will occur micro stuttering or something ?

He will buy entire new sytem with powerful graphics card later after 1 year....But for now he can only buy HD 7750...Also tell me which is best brand for HD7750...ASUS or Sapphire...

BF3 multiplayer will struggle due to CPU bottleneck alone.

From 7750 list Link

7750 can have clock speed of 900Mhz i.e. 100 Mhz higher than stock. Make sure you buy with GDDR5 type memory.

So there is no big problem occur in buying HD 7750 GDDR5 for Core 2 Duo E4400?

For certain games, Core 2 Duo E4400 (2 Ghz), would bottleneck the 7750 GPU.

You can convert some of molex power connectors into PCI-E power connectors

Does your link show all the available power connectors?

On high player maps, CPU alone won't let you have a stable fps, whether the graphics settings are low or high. That being said, it won't be "unplayable", but annoying.

I run those games with a 2.53ghz dual core and dont really notice any lag or drop below 30fps. i doubt that the extra .53ghz i have would be that much of a difference. I also run a hd 7770 on mine

He should overclock the CPU if he can, C2D@2.0 doesn't sound like too much fun.

yeah this will be the last leg of that PC spec for current games. Keep it though, good for oldies like TF2. Most console ports will run on it. While ur inside the box, it will love you for more RAM, two 4gb sticks shouldnt be too expensive.

It's not that serious. It's amusing that you get so irritated at something so petty. Grow up.

Trust me, im not losing any sleep over it. I just think its funny that someone whose been on this site so long can't read...... (you can go back 4-5 pages on threads and still see threads from this week, how in the hell does one bump threads 3-4 weeks old ?).

Grow up ? Multiple users have called you out on your arrogance and your reply is always some smart ass remark instead of actually leaving the top of the page for people who need help now, NOT help weeks ago when there questions have already been answered/they have left the thread for good (yeah im the one who needs to grow up  )

Look, read my posts. I don't always come off as arrogant. I seldom do, unless it's in response to something petty. I've been up here a long time, yes, but I really never thought anything of it, as far as posting on something older, or bumping as I see it's referred to. It's ok. I'll try not to do it again. I just didn't think it was that big of a deal. Sorry if I offended you.
