This is my rig: How come it be lagging :S? * Intel Core2 Quad Processor Q8300 4*2,5GHz * 4GB DDR2-RAM * 640GB HD * NVIDIA GeForce GT220 with 1024MB VRAM * DVD-Brenner * 6*USB 2.0 * 2*PS/2 * VGA * DVI-I * HDMI * FireWire * LAN * Wireless LAN IEEE 802.11 n-Draft * eSATAWant2GameWhat settings are you trying to play COD 4 on? My guess as to why would be your gpu.
1024X768 X4 Anti Alasing 60 Hertz Not sure if my drivers are up to dateWant2Gametry playing on low settings with everything turned off. if that works than try raising the settings and see if it lags to a point of unplayability. the AA could be killing your gpu by the way.
Thanks :-) but i cant see why the game would be lagging at all :S?Want2GameThe gt220 is a horrible card for gaming. COD 4 is eating that card alive. You need to turn your settins way down in order to have that card render COD 4.

I need to know how big your power supply is, however.
How can i check that :P?Want2Gameif you open the side of your case there should be a tag on your power supply that lables what the wattage is. Is your computer custome built or from a retailer? if it is from a retailer opening the case can void your warrenty.

Yes its a medionWant2Gameif you dont really care about the warrenty you can install a card yourself. If you do care about the warrenty than you need to take your computer to your local retailer or repari shop and see if they can have a certified tech install a card for you. I all depends on how much you want to spend and how big your power supply is. Im not that familiar with Medio but I would guess that you have between a 250 and 350 watt power supply. The reason that this is important is because differnt cards require more power to function. An easy way to look at this is typically the higher the performance of the card the more powere that it will require. The best thing to do would be to both upgrade your video card and your power supply. Reason is because lets say you get a video card and that card requires a 300 watt power supply and that is what you have than you seriously risk shortin out your video card or worse yet your enitre system. Dont ever skimp on the power supply department, it will only come back to bite you. Another sudgesstion that I have is if you have just recently bought the computer return it, get your money back, and build your own. Its really not that hard and you will more than likely be spending the same amount of money but be getting much better quilty for parts.
