What settings are you trying to play COD 4 on? My guess as to why would be your gpu.

try playing on low settings with everything turned off. if that works than try raising the settings and see if it lags to a point of unplayability. the AA could be killing your gpu by the way.

try going to the nvidia website and updating drivers, you will also want to turn your textures/shaders down to medium i would say.

The gt220 is a horrible card for gaming. COD 4 is eating that card alive. You need to turn your settins way down in order to have that card render COD 4.

I'm sorry i forgot that you listed them in your first post. I need to know how big your power supply is, however.

if you open the side of your case there should be a tag on your power supply that lables what the wattage is. Is your computer custome built or from a retailer? if it is from a retailer opening the case can void your warrenty.

if you dont really care about the warrenty you can install a card yourself. If you do care about the warrenty than you need to take your computer to your local retailer or repari shop and see if they can have a certified tech install a card for you. I all depends on how much you want to spend and how big your power supply is. Im not that familiar with Medio but I would guess that you have between a 250 and 350 watt power supply. The reason that this is important is because differnt cards require more power to function. An easy way to look at this is typically the higher the performance of the card the more powere that it will require. The best thing to do would be to both upgrade your video card and your power supply. Reason is because lets say you get a video card and that card requires a 300 watt power supply and that is what you have than you seriously risk shortin out your video card or worse yet your enitre system. Dont ever skimp on the power supply department, it will only come back to bite you. Another sudgesstion that I have is if you have just recently bought the computer return it, get your money back, and build your own. Its really not that hard and you will more than likely be spending the same amount of money but be getting much better quilty for parts.

Something like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16817139008 and this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102829&cm_re=4650-_-14-102-829-_-Product Do some more research before you buy anything and make sure it is what you want. You might be able to save a little bit more if you look around. Good luck and let me know if you need anything. Feel free to PM me if you need help.

Take the entire thing back, it probably wasn't worth the money you paid for it.

your pc is not top of the line let me guess bought it from bestbuy? the qaud core is intels low end quads but still decent enough and no need to upgrade altough an oc wouldn't help but if u bought it from bestbuy you can't. but its your cpu is not the issue its the graphics card that is low end and not very good if your trying to max it out with AA even at a low resolution your gonna have to deal with less then stellar fps. a 9600gso would be a good upgrade if your looking for more power a 4850 would fit the bill
