Call of Duty: World at War vs. Modern Warfare

I own Modern Warfare and i completely love it. I have never played a WW2 game and i think i might want to get World at War. Since i have never played a WW2 game, do u think i would like WaW better? I looked up some of the cool stuff like nazi zombies, coop campain, and the multiplayer, and they look pretty solid.Is WaW worth the Purchase?

i highly recommend it.it doesn't have a storyline like cod4 but its great fun. a lot more bloodier as well.

Hmmm, its a damn good game, but if you have already played Modern Warfare and NOT played a WW2 (seriously, how did this happen :) ). You should buy some other great WW2 title that is different.

You might want to consider Brothers in Arms: Hells Highway.

I have a question. Which game has the better multiplayer - modern warfare or modern warfare 2. I plan on getting one of these for the xbox360 - so I was just wondering if MW2 is worth the extra money to get.

I prefer World at War to Modern Warfare. MW was extremely boring and while WaW was not anything great it was more enjoyable. The multiplayer in WaW is also better. The developers have released 3 map packs for free with really good maps. MW is as it is with nothing being added by IW. Finally, WaW mp has dogs you can send to kill the enemy. Pure bliss.

hmm do not get world at war, instead buy call of duty 2. More people play it online and it's a better shooter overall, better single player campaign and you'll get to see how call of duty and infinity ward were PC DEVELOPERS before they got stupid with mw2.

World at War is the only online MP COD that I liked.

Personally I prefer modern setting with all of its great weapons

But COD 5 is not a bad agame, I just get bored with old WW2 setting :D
